- Mstv01| 1 replyThis number called today 2X. Didn't pick up either time, but ID showed Amazon Debt Collection. I do have the Amazon CC through Synchrony bank, so called C.S. to find out if something going on and this number is definitely associated with Amazon's Card.
Turns out I was a week late on the payment! Apparently only til end of day on the due day & you can be liable for a late fee.
Sad to say, a legitimate number.- Caller: Amazon/Synchrony Bank CC Debt Collection
- Call type: Debt collector
- Tygerkat replies to Mstv01Oh, no! You were late on your credit card payment! But why did you look this number up when you already know who called you?
By the way, just because this was "sad to say, a legitimate number" for you doesn't mean it is for others. Scammers spoof legitimate numbers all the time. - ksgalI get anon calls leaving this number as a contact for synchrony bank... they are associated with Amazon, but the interest rate is 27%!!!!! you get 5% back so it's like discover card.. but *I* am never going to go with a card with that kind of interest again. So Ignore this call and don't worry about it.

He said he was from India and an off-shore related to Synchronicity Bank. I told him that I would reach out to someone in the US and hung up. I do not have an account with this bank.
