1866-811- 1159, I do owe on credit card, but working with debt company, this people will not leave me a message of what company they are calling form, what should i do.

Did anyone notice that out of everyone that has posted here, no one seems to be either a lawyer, paralegal, or person who pays their bills? Just wondering, happened across this site in google for another no. and was blown away by the utter, self-righteous lack of responsibility. well they weren't even calling for me, so before you go off half cocked maybe  you should think about those that these calls aren't even for. they were looking for someone I haven't talked to in years why is it my resposibility?

I am also having to deal with these people, sure is scary to read all of these posts. I am with a debt releif center, we are working on clearing up our bills.

This agency is a debt collector, they use the law offices moniker.
I will report this Fred guy to the State Bar and evryone please call them back and say to quit harrassing you, and if they call again I think you can collect 1,000 us dollars for each offense. Keep a caller id log.

So then, you back up these low life loosers, who can't get their information correct and will USE DECEITFUL practices to get their money, which includes THREATS!?  GTH!!

Rude Guy called me at work, of course I wasn't there. Talked to our receptionst and was totally out of line. She called me, and I return called the 866-811-1159 back. Came to find out an attorney office with idiots for employees. They came to find out that the person they were wanting had almost same name and some similarties as I. They were rude, and at end of conversation, they had tables turned on them. They started to be nice and start giving me financial advice and maybe I needed to report fraud and check my credit status. They are old ugly dogs, waiting to pounce and bite, but I got them good.

I do owe BOA, but got a call from this number on my answering machine stating they are from Hanna Attorney but didnt state they were a callection agency.  Called back late at night to find out they are a callection agency.  Then looked them up on line and found this...Thank you, I wont be returing there phone calls.

I would have told the neighbors he was an obsessed Stalker
whose dangerous,stalking me and wont leave me alone,
and I would warn the neighbor that if they called again
to alert the police and if they saw any strange activity
in the neighborhood or around my place to alert the police.

I got a message from this phone number, somebody ask me about my social security number then hang up.

Got a call from "out of area" 866-811-1159.  I let it go to the answering maching.  The guy said he was a lawyer collecting on a debt for someone I never heard of.  The soluction to this kind of thing is to block the number.

Former Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Norman Fletcher testified at a hearing Tuesday that a state investigation into the debt collection practices of a Cobb County attorney interferes with the lawyer’s ability to practice law. Investigators with the Governor’s Office of Consumer Affairs have demanded that Frederick J. Hanna’s law firm, Frederick J. Hanna and Associates, turn over letters and other documents detailing his debt collection activities. Fletcher, testifying as an expert witness, said only the State Bar of Georgia has regulatory authority over the attorney’s practices in such matters.

Hanna’s firm is being investigated following consumer complaints filed against the firm. The state argued it has authority over the aspects of Hanna’s business that are regulated by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Closing arguments in the Cobb County Superior Court case are set for June 18.

I love how debt collectors get on this board and defend the actions of the crooks that they work for. Why would these people even care that this board exists. Let me tell ya. They are insignificant high school dropouts who can only become employed at some minimum wage job like this. Deep down, they know that what they do is WRONG, so they attempt to vindicate themselves on these message boards.
