A recorded message was left on my answering machine to call John Taylor at 1-866-852-2187 to discuss a file that had come across his desk. The recording did not specify or refer to a particular name or the reason. The assertive request to call the number was given twice. I will not call back. My number is on the do not call list.

Recieved urgent call from 866-320-9848 TELLING me to call JOHN TAYLOR @ 866-852-2187...called number and spoke to a KEVIN. He would not give me much information but told him I was getting wrong numbers for a certain person (did not give him a name) that had this phone number before me. I also will add these numbers to the DO NOT CALL list. He did slip and say the number was for FLOW CAFE....thats a new one

Got the call as described by several posters here from Luisa to my cellphone this morning. Only identified as the offices of John Taylor having some files I need to call back about. I have some debt I am paying off but NONE of them have been overdue. Not interested in calling back someone who gives a vague identification and purpose for calling me.

Same story...get a message saying to call John Taylor.  After a number of these messages I called the number and asked for John Taylor.  Told Mr Taylor this was a wrong number.  Gave him both numbers that ring this phone and asked to have them removed.  Mr Taylor stated he was, in fact, adding my numbers to his list and assured me I would recieve more calls.  I assured him I was reporting his number to national do not call registry and would file complaint with police if more calls were recieved.  He said he was going to call my bluff.  I did submit complaints to NDNCR.

I rec'd a call from 8663209248, today, same story, supposedly this guys secretary trying to reach me, telling me to call back 8668522187. I called back and it was some scam 'debt collector' trying to collect on an 'old old old' Sears account from me. I said I've never had a Sears account in my life. He pressed again about it, and I said they would have to provide documentation of this supposed account and as soon as I did, he said it must be someone else with my name.

Whatever.

Got a phone call this morning saying to call him on urgent matter.  I believe this is linked in with 408-689-0448 also.  Caller (indian accent) called and said he needed my boyfriend to call his attorney. This is the number he gave.  He also called a month or so ago and said that we had been approved for some loan.  He kept trying to get my boyfriend's cel number out of me.

Today received a call that left same exact message as others received from a Lisa to call a John Taylor before 7. I erased the message after looking it up on the web and coming across all these people with the same experience. Thanks for the info

Same thing. Lisa called and said it was urgent that I call John Taylor back before 7pm today.

I got a call message saying that "This is Lisha and she works for the office of John Taylor and this it is important that get in contact with him asap, that he is in the office until 7pm. Don't know who this might be....

Got this message today that was left on our answering machine: "This is Lisa, I'm calling from the offices of Mr. John Taylor. Mr Taylor needs to verify information with you regarding a file that has been referred to this office. You need to call him directly, his number is 866-852-2187 and he will be available today until 7pm. Again it is important that you return Mr. John Taylor's call at 866-852-2187. Thank you." It didn't mention who they were calling for or leaving message for. The # that showed on my caller ID was 417-213-3042, but was asked to call the above # directly.  I did not call either number back, reported it to the National Do Not Call website, and contacted the Sheriff's office to file a complaint.

Mr. John Taylor's Secretary, Lisa phoned and stated she had some files that were directed to his office and they required urgent attention.

The call came in from this number: 866-248-4395  However I am to return the call back to 866-852-2187  I might enjoy hearing what they have to say, so I'm calling back & blocking my number to hear what is so urgently important.  Please Hold:-)

OK So i blocked my number, (recording the call because my phone has the capabilities to do so as it goes to the answering machine) First time a gentleman answers and immediately hangs up.
 
Second try, not blocking my number this time: a recording  comes on stating.
"You have reached Regent Asset Management Solutions please listen carefully to the all of following options as some of them have changed. Remember If you are calling to request a payroll garnishment release, please have your case number ready. Please select from the following options. Press 1 if you know your parties extension. Press 2 if you'd like to speak to the next available associate. .etc... "

I press 2 . . .
"Thanks you for calling regent my name is Brenda how may i help you?"  ME: "a message was left on my machine in regards to a a file that was in Mr. Taylor's possession."  
Brenda: "Do you know the business owner of One Time Alleged Incorporated"  (she spoke very fast and that's as close i can make out what she was saying - she repeated the business name twice, and even on playback I can't figure out exactly what she said.)  Anyhow I simply said "No, I'd never heard of them before."
Brenda:  "OK mam' I'm sorry we must have the wrong number and we'll remove you from our system. Have a nice day"

That was it.  I'll follow up on here, if I should by chance receive any future calls.  If you are repeatedly receiving calls and you have no debt, please give them a call and verify that they are calling the wrong person. However I'd strongly advise NOT  to give any PERSONAL information.

For all of you claiming that they're taking you off their call list, I have a big, big surprise for you: they won't and they never will.  Your only recourse is to file a lawsuit against them, or, ask for a new phone number from your phone service provider, which will cost you money.

They're listed as Regent Asset Management Solutions, which is in all likelihood a phony front for junk debt collectors.  They aren't really looking for any one specific person, but are trying to get you to give them personal information.

I like to toy with them myself, suggesting Lisa and John are having an affair or that John is a closet-bound Nigerian homo, etc. and get a good laugh out of it before they hang up on me.  It's been going on for a good year now.  The last time I called them back I identified myself as John's gay lover and needed to talk to him about an urgent medical problem I just had diagnosed.

I've never gotten such an inconsiderate message before. You'd think if it's a valid company they'd at least say they're trying to reach Mr or Mrs so and so. That's not a breach of privacy to leave it on the answering machine.

The fact that's it's a recorded message just screams scam to me. I'm not calling back, going to report to the do not call list.

I also received a phone call today from this number to call a John Taylor before 7pm today. What is this about? I will not be returning his phone call.

I also have been receiving the calls stating that my file has crossed the desk of John Taylor and it is important that I call back by 7pm.
The woman leaving the message never addresses me by name, or gives reference to what this is about.
I know it is a wrong number, and I will not call back  .. but how do I get this to stop (other than canceling my phone line!).

I got the same call from John Taylor.  I found out that I am not the person they were asking for and I AM ANNOYED that they woke me from a peaceful sleep.

These people have been calling for a couple of days and the call register's as:999-999-9999. Then a call is left on VM from a "Lisa" saying a "Mr. John Taylor" has a very important matter to discuss.... This is totally bogus, unsolicited, disturbing, intrusive and a harrassment to be called at all hours of the day/night! I'm on the "Do not call" registry; but apparently these people know the way to get around it! Ugh....
