    received text and tried to contact no. given but just get voice mail runaround and now the number has
    been disconnected. I hope all the money they steal will be taken from them. I will be contacting AT&T to see if I can stop these thieves at 8668611606

    I recieved the text from them a few weeks ago and immediately replied "STOP" as I did not ever sign up for anything or request anything. I recieved my monthly statement yesterday to find that they had billed me 9.99.
    I replied "STOP" again, but I will be going to AT&T tomorrow to find out more.
    Absolutely absurd!

    They claimed to have sent me a PIN which I entered into their web site to receive fun fact trivia texts - but guess what, I don't have text capability on my phone. When I told rep. this, he said they were only a third party company representing the first company. When I asked the web site or phone no. of company, rep. said, "I don't know."  Supervisor said they are not allowed to give out the info.  When I demanded a refund, rep. said AT&T does not allow them to provide refunds.  ?????

    Been charged 9.99 since Dec. 2011. Cancelled through AT&T. Called the number and received a rude rep. who tried to convince me I received a text from them which I entered into their web site to receive texts of trivia facts.  Clincher - I don't have text capability on my phone.  Definitely a scam.  $60 down the drain at a bad time for me financially.

    I got them on the phone today, 5/25/12, but it does no good. Called 5 times and talked with different reps.  They just give you a canned statement about how you ordered their service.  Definitely a scam. They said they text me a PIN number that I used on my computer.  My phone doesn't have text capability.

    I got a charge from this company as well. It's actually, although still a hassle, really easy. Just give them a call, tell them you want them to stop, and ask for a refund. I am a tmobile user but if it's the same company there's no reason why it shouldn't function the same way.

    Just got off the phone with AT&T and want to add my thanks to everyone that posted.  This worked perfectly.  AT&T refunded 2 months worth and then the lady gave me an extra $25 refund.  There were 3 months she could not refund but she could give me a credit from another pool.

    She told me that 3rd party billers (is that even a word?  Spell check failed me) are supposed to have 2 affirmative responses that you want to pay for their service.  It seems that this company takes no response to mean yes.  

    Just to reiterate what everyone else has said:  

    - If you get a text from MobibroIQ do not reply.  Go right to Att.net/DB and make sure you are not getting charged.
    - Call AT&T immediately
    - Request your refund (politely) AT&T did not do this.
    - Setup a Block Direct Bill - AT&T will send you a 4 digit pin number that will need to be used to purchase things via txt.

    I'm a ATT customer and I just called them to report the "scam" of 9.99 charge and they were so nice and put a blocker on all my phones and credited ALL the charges even the ones that i wasn't aware of.  THEY ROCK!

    I had a 9.99 charge for "MyMobipal Club" that I don't remember ordering. The provider was Bune LLC. I called AT&T after receiving my bill and they quickly refunded me the charge.

    I NEVER give my cell number to anyone but friends or family, if i sign up for a site i always give my land line number cause i use it for everyone not personal to me. so was amazed to get this stupid brainbuster texts for 10 bucks .. called att they took it off , refunded my money, and installed a block on purchases without a pin number. a hassle but if you sit and do nothing your giving them 10.00 a month and i pay enough to the government as it is and get nothing, so why would anyone want this ?

    I'd love to see someone that actually loves getting them and happily pays for it.

    IT SEEMS I HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR SOME SORT OF SCAM AT $9.99 PER MONTH FOR SOME TIME.  IT LOOKS LIKE IT COMES FROM AT&T ON AN AUTOMATIC RENEWAL.  THE CELL PHONE SAYS THAT IS IS FROM 11119916 AND THE RENEWAL IS FOR IQ29CALL8668611606.  HOW IS THIS STOPPED AND CAN WE RECOVER OUR LOSES?
