I have blocked their number, as they spam call me. But I cant block voicemails. They keep leaving me voicemails for some dude named ronaldos cibc account. My voicemail doesn't say my name, but clearly the female voice does not resemble anyone under the name ronaldo. Neither that or have I ever had a CIBC account. I doubt this is a legitimate collections agency, and I doubt the legitimacy of some of these comments saying their bank accounts got frozen. Probably straight from the scammers themselves. Do not answer.

I have received 2 calls from this number one July 25, 2018 @ 7:49am and July 31, 2018 @ 3:26pm - I do not have a CIBC account and haven't had one for 8 years or longer - I do not owe CIBC! When they left a voicemail they stated they were from the Credit Bureau of Canada

WOW what an evil evil group behind this phone number ... i hope someone finds out who they are and puts them in prison...

Constantly calls multiple times a day from 7:00am to 9:00pm for a Wayne Fung, reference number is 820438. They say they are the credit bureau for CIBC. Address given is 1450 Myers Side Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L5T 2N5. I have had my telephone numbers for years and never had any calls from this number in the past.

100% B.S.  No need for anyone to acknowledge them in any way whatsoever.  Not only are they simply posing as something they're not, they're even farther down the ladder than the average bill collector.   These low lifes and the lowest iq dimmest witted people that are so lazy that they couldn't even find themselves a real job.  Our economy is booming and there's work all over the place yet these dimwits gave up on their lives long ago.

This is a collection agency that has to buy old,  bad debts out of barrel of them sitting around for people to buy.  These old debts are off the books, no longer have to be paid, have zero legal tie to them, have no link to any creditor but rather are a cash grab to the dimwits trying to scare you into thinking you have some sort of obligation to pay them.  You don't so don't play their game.

The people that work there are the bottom of society.  Imagine a child molestor/rapist getting out of jail after 25 years with no education, no family, no teeth, no money and no future.   They are even more qualified than who these agencies hire.

They have been nothing me for a month now, sometimes twice a day, ends up on my voice mail. today the number that showed up on my phone is 416-244-0899 and is the ont. fed. for cerebral palsy, but they want me to call them at 866-865-2422. bunch of nonsense and very annoying.

this number called 12 times in one week, i don't even bank at CIBC.  I have had this phone number for over a year, suddenly they are calling for the previous owner of this phone number.

These pple have been calling me multiple times a day for over a year now from 5 or 6 different numbers. They're not even looking for me or anyone that I know. I have their number blocked but I still have to go in and empty my voicemail from them every single day. I just counted 142 calls on the last 6 months.

Called back using a separate number, they claimed to be Revenue Canada or something, I have no idea other than the call freaked me out.
Been recieving calls from them daily, 5 times a day, every week, for the past few months, even after switching phones.

Same as above -  on behalf of CIBC trying to find some random guy, call us today before 16:00 to avoid further escalations, etc.

This number associated to taking money out of friends account but no idea why or what for. Bank only gave that number.  Cannot take money from someone's account without proper court documentation?? Bank not much help saud no idea. Advising her to tell bank fraudulent.

Definitely a scam. These are fraudsters. Haven't had any dealings with CIBC for 4+ years. In Quebec, maximum limit is 3 years...so, if they didn't collect within 3, then they are SOL. I never answer any call that I do not recognize the number for, they leave robotic voice mail messages, so I am invoking my constitutional right to freedom of religion and praying that all of their employees get cancer and suffer grotesque pain in perpetuity.

This number called my place today for a over four year old debt. No letter was sent beforehand. Debt is stats barred. Left a voicemail saying we HAD to call back as if dude owned the world. That's the part that really made me mad.

As with the above comments, this is a FRAUD company. After 3 years in Quebec, tough luck. Ironic that CIBC tries to collect money to "save the world from cancer". THEY are a cancer on the banking industry, and, in an ideal world, their customers would be cancer-free, while all their employees suffer and die from it. Canada's Worst Bank in every respect.

Got several calls and ignored but finally called this number unfortunately the guy name sid talked to me and mentioned a wrong first name with my correct last name so he asked me my phone number and by my phone number he pulled my address :( Although he said it's a wrong name written here but i am worried.

This number has been calling me for years. Unfortunately these dumb [***] think they are CBC. The real number is 800-256-8964

this no. caleed to my company's swith board, ask me to call back to Jessica ext 3392-CBCC. I never owned any money to any party. Shoul I call back?

I've had this number call me and leave messages for someone who isn't me, regarding CIBC. I called them back and it is indeed the Credit Bureau of Canada Collections. I spoke with them and explained that I am not the person they are trying get hold of and that I have never had dealings with CIBC. They were very helpful and said that they would remove my number from the name they had it associated with. Hopefully that will be the end of the calls and messages.
