I get calls everyday and I tell them to take my number off their list and they say they can't unless I give my name and I don't. They continue to call anyways.

I get calls from this number for a Connie, they say that she gave them my telephone number they called three four times

Repeated 2 - 3 times daily calls to my cell phone, caller is heavily accented voice, I think they're saying "Applied Bank,'"asking for someone named "Terry..."  I don't know any Terry, and have repeatedly informed them of this.  Though they claim they will take my phone number off the account, they continue to call.  I do not have an account with this company!!!!

They call almost everyday I tried not to pickup the phone but one day I said this is gotta stop so I answered and a machine told me to HOLD. I dont even know who it is or why they are calling my home number. Is this legal?

Unknown caller, no voice, out of network charge to cell phone.

What gotfried said is not true. Not everyone who receives harassing calls from this company is late on a payment. I've never even had an account with Applied Bank Card formerly known as Cross Country Bank. Therefore, how could I be late on a bill? I am not late on ANY bill.

Most times, the calls are abandoned calls, where no one answers then it hangs up. However, a few times, I have spoken to someone just like everyone else reports. However, I have spoken to at least two different people. They have foreign accents and the line is full of static. I filed complaints with the FCC. They said I needed to file a complaint with the FTC since this is a collection agency. I filed that complaint just a few minutes ago. I am also tracing the calls.

Just google applied card bank and read all the horror stories! There are tons of them.

We get at least 10 calls each week for the past month from this place. Most of the time we dont answer, but if we do happen to answer, they always ask for some Chris person. There isnt anyone here with that name, and we have had this number for 10 years or so.

I think everyone that gets these calls should call the number every single day. Lets tie up their line with annoying calls. lol

Got a call from this number on my work phone.  Listened to a recorded message stating that someone would be with me.  Heard a garbled voice and then nothing.  I said "Hello" several times but got no response.  I hung up and Googled the number on the caller-ID and found this forum.

My girlfriend gets calls once a day from these meat heads... They are asking for an Eric Davis, he does not live there.  They promise to remove the number and they dont.  I have spoken with a Robin at ext 8256 (big lier) who claims he has removed the number.  I have even gotten nasty with them and they still call back, we have changed our number because of them...Ha ha ha You lose Applied Bank Services..may you rot in hell.

Obtained a new cell phone, with a new number to me, on December 14th 2007.  Have received at least 20 calls from 1-866-873-8592 since.  They ask for someone that I don't, in a strong accent that I hardly understand, I explain that they have a wrong number but they don't reply.

4, 5, 6 times a day, for at least the last two months, I'm having to clear this number from my inbox. I'd never heard of Applied Bank until they started calling my cell phone number, which only my wife and friends have, AND I'm on the Do Not Call list. I finally called them back. After about a minute of blasting music, a girl with a heavy Asian accent answered. I told her that after reading posts on this site (and others) about Applied Bank, I had no intention whatsoever of conducting business with them. Told her to remove the number from the database immediately and do not call again. She then tried to direct me to a customer service line which I needed to call to have the number removed. I interrupted her, and told her "No! I don't have to do anything! Remove the number now! End of conversation! Goodbye!" Will it be removed? I'm not holding my breath...

I get a few calls a week from this number. The ones I get are data calls, like a modem or fax trying to call. My phone will not let me answer them. When I call the number back I always get somebody with a heavy accent, indian possibly. I tell them to take me off their list and they say they will but I still continue to get the calls!!! Does anybody know how to stop these calls???

Called 3 times in one day and hung up instead of leaving a message coherent enough for me to determine weather or not to return call. This is becoming a nuisance. In past when answered asked for person or persons who don't live at this residence.

Received call from 866-873-8592. It was a missed call on my cell phone. I called the number and was greeted by a recording saying it was Bankcard services and to stay on the line until a rep could assist me. I don't have a credit card and I think this company called once before and left a message for someone with a spanish sounding name. I've also received calles from them and when I answered it all I heard was music and I refuse to stay on the line and spend my minutes on someone else's account problems.

Perhaps after reading these other posts I mis understood who was calling.. at first I did think it was Bangkok Services but I thought I had misunderstood so I don't know if it was Bangkok or Bankcard... either way.. they are annoying as heck! On a Sunday even!!

Calls 3 times a day for 3 months on my cell phone. They ask for Rick M Jones don't know anyone by that name have asked 7 times to block my no. They continue to call.

They started calling me recently.  They call every other day.  It seams like they are looking for somebody with our last name.  I keep telling them that he doesn't leave here and ask them not to call.  It doesn't help. they keep calling.

Keep calling.  I've told them to remove me from their list.  They said they needed my name to do that and I told them no way and if they continued to call I would report them.  The guy hung up quickly but I have continued to receive the calls.

They keep calling my cell phone asking for Christopher Wheeler (or Willer), and I've told them numerous times I am not him. They call twice a day and it's getting ridiculous.
