I don't have a PayPal acct

There is no bill to pay and they still call! What don't you understand about that?.... Pay attention!!!

They call at least a dozen times a day. They never speak, they never leave a message

I receive the same calls from the 899-6190 and 866-899-6190 Number referenced in all of these 800 complaints herein.  I am now keeping a log and I can confer the same type of demonstrative, calls up to twelve (12) times a day. We are on the do not call list. This has been going on for months and months now. It does not appear to have to do with or with not late bill pays. I do have a PayPal Account and I pay them in good faith. I am disabled. These calls are terribly harassing and emotionally toiling, sometimes I get angry, somtimes I completly lose it because along with Fibromyalgia/CF-MCE, a sleep disorder exists and these folks love to call at 8:00 a.m. and all day up until after 10:00 p.m. and as early as 9:20 on Sunday mornings. I am a retired Paralegal, we need to get each District Attorney of each State and City to be aware, again, District Attorney of each State and City to be aware and reported to, again District Attorney of each State and City to be aware and tack action against these monsters of cruelty and evasion of quiety enjoyment of our home. They slightly skirt the hours of the Fair Debt Collection Act. If they are not collecting, who are they? They are liers either way.

If it is indeed Pay "Pal" lying, (people lie, dog's lay) Pay Pal com. and eBay’s greedy fingers into the American right to entrepreneur and succeed, I already have, and will continue to NOT give them one red cent other than "good faith" payment; to stand up for not being unduly harassed in our own hard-earned homes, our loyalty and safety to keep land-lines. I just so happen to refuse to do business with any of them ever again, at my own cost. By these words and examples of many persons herein, I highly recommend  everybody that reads this do the same; and tell your friends to tell their friends, and tell your business and its associates to tell everybody they know not to do business with anybody who uses these types of actions to further their means. It is not American, nor in the interest of simple humanity.

calls every two three days.  no one is ever there.  everytime i answer they hang up.

These calls began this week 0f Feb.2012. The same no. as all the other post's i am seeing here. The calls began in the morning and again in the afternoon. Most times i do not respond to these types of calls i do not recognize on my caller Id. As the evening got later the calls became more presistant but never any messages. The two times I did answer a woman asked for another name. I just responded by asking what the call was in reference to and if I could take a message. Both times I was hung up on. Even if the call was a mistake it is rude and unprofessional to simply hang up without some sort of explanation or at least to say who is calling. I truely hope this does not continue.  It seems as though the no call list feature is not exactly what they say. More and more calls seems to slip through. Just as in with most things in life- Some people always find a way to spoil it for the rest. . Keep a nice loud whistle by your phone. Watch for the no. on your caller ID .    I also put a stop to another phone annoyance by having my police scanner on loud and setting the phone on it. If something sounds official that caller will find something else to do.

Supposedly from PayPal - but we owe no balance.  Never leave message, call all during day and evening.

Untrue. I look at my paypal account and there is a 0 balance. I don't owe them any money, never did. I rarely use them and when I do, the payment goes through my bank, no credit at all. Paid immediately. This is a scam, don't give them any information. Legally, they MUST send you something in writing. Tell them to do so. Report them, or better yet, just ignore them.

" PAYPAL"  will   NEVER   call  a    paypal  account  holder  unless   there  is a   breach of  security  with  your  paypal  account....period !

IF    you  are a   paypal account  holder , and  need  any  verification  of a  " mysterious"  call     apparently  from   paypal..........

I keep getting a call from this number, but no message is left. All my bills are up to date so I understand why I keep getting calls from this company. I don't know the name of the company, they do not say.

Record and log their calls. Sue for every FDCPA violation.

I started receiving these calls several days ago on my cell phone.  PLEASE STOP.  I have no outstanding credit debt so you have the wrong person!

They called early this morning, I answered, recording says they will be right with me, left me hanging so I hung up.  I called the number back, recording says they are with PayPal, that they have confirmed the number I am calling from and to please enter the last few of my SS # so they can verify my identity.  I don't think so!  I don't know who the [***] are on the other line!  I logged into my PayPal account, thinking somehow I missed a payment, and I have nothing due until next month.  WTH?!  Someone called back from a 1-800 number, this evening, said they were from PayPal, but the dude's accent was so thick I couldn't understand.  I asked him to repeat who he was and why he was calling, he hung up, no call back.

Calls 2-3x a day. Vague message that is automated

I get several calls from this number and now they are calling our cell phones.  I do have a pay pal account and it is current.  These calls are annoying.

9 am sharp this Saturday. So much for sleeping in and catching up on needed sleep. I told them to take me off their call list, he just said it was a PERSONAL business call. I said dont call me anymore and he said again this is a PERSONAL business call. If it was PayPal, he would have said. I just hung up on him. Yes, I have a paypal account. It is NOT behind in payments. I am not behind in ANY of my payments with anyone and my GEMoney accounts are all paid up. If its important information anyway, they should tell me who THEY are before they ask who I am.

I just received a call from 866-899-6190 saying I have a paypal acct under my name and they wanted my ssn#.  I told them I wasn't going to give them any information over the phone and I told them I never opened any paypal acct.  I hung up!  I will send them cease and desist letter.

called at 3:31 pm today.  Clicking on the line . Call disconnected.  Tried to take out money from a closed checking account.

They will call 10 to 12 times a day, most of the time when my wife and I are not home, They will not leave a message. They call even after 9pm. They know it's against the law!
