You do realize most people pay all their bills on time, right?  I get this call constantly, however,  I am never late on my payments.  I do however, log in to check my account rather than calling back.  I JUST received the call, my payment (which has already been made) was not even due until the 15th.

866, 800, 888 numbers get exactly 5 seconds to speak when I answer the phone and then I hang up.  I'll know it's a computer calling me and then someone with a heavy middle eastern, English-second-language type accent is going to ask to speak to someone. More than once I've gotten a call asking me about vaginal mesh lawsuits. More than once I've received calls saying the police will be at my door to collect on a payday loan they say I got back in 2005.  More than once I've received calls saying I owed a past due balance to the IRS and they'd like to give me instructions on how to purchase a prepaid Visa card from Walmart and to call them back with the information to resolve the debt.  One time I have responded.  Every other time I've disconnected and blocked the caller.  I've even received calls from my same area code with such threats.  They're fake numbers, it's very distressing because they come from the city where my children live, so I answer them and have to handle the caller.  The one time I responded was the one time I was threatened with police action.  I told him in Garland County if someone steps on my property and I fear for my safety I can legally extract a firearm and defend myself in whatever way I see fit and I will shoot on sight because there are "NO TRESPASSING" signs on my property.  He asked "Ma'am are you threatening me?" I said "Yes, very much so." He said "I will contact the authorities immediately and have you arrested for threatening me." I responded "While you were giving me your lecture on the money I owe, I had muted the call and called the sheriff's department myself. They informed me that there was no warrant for my arrest and that I may shoot you if you come to my house."  He was flabbergasted and hung up the call.  That was the last time they called me. I did actually call the sheriff's department.  The detective immediately asked me if I had given these leeches any money and when I said no, he said "at least you're one of the smart ones."

Some one from this number 866-899-6190 keeps calling my cell phone.  On one occasion they said it was a call from pay pal, I have no pal pal account, when I called the number back, there was no answer.

This number has been calling me 1-2 times a day for a couple of weeks. This needs to stop.
