Well...same thing as below...however, now they are offering a free digital Camera and an "exotic" vacation to Orlando (or 10 other locations to choose from).   I would not give my banking information over the phone, and with his middle eastern accent, he kept trying to say it wasnt banking information he was looking for.   Well...asking for my account info., is my banking information...he couldn't seem to understand.  Anything that sounds too good to be true, always is just that...and a scam these days.

Hey, MP89, I'd talk to your military legal services there -- since this happened while you were deployed, it seems like the MPs could get involved in that investigation. I think NCIS'd do it for us (Navy).

I was contacted several times by a man with a foreign name and accent who offered me a free trip in order to promote the APEX Services Company.  I was told I would only be charged one dollar on my checking account in order to receive the trip information.  I was told that if I used the items then I would be charged additionally.  I only agreed to review the information and although I never used any of the items, I was charged a total of $117.98.  I was also told that if I had any problems I could be refunded and when I called to make my complaint, I was laughed at and told I would not be getting my money back. The first person I spoke with was a woman named Crystal, ID# 5003.  After I continually insisted on speaking with her supervisor she finally agreed several minutes later.  I spoke with Corey, ID# 60, and told him that my account was drafted fraudulently and I wanted a refund.  He disagreed and said that everything was non-refundable.  I told him that I would send everything back because I couldn't use any of it anyway. After a heated and explicit argument I told him that his company and everyone working for it has committed a terrorist act against me and that I would report there fraud.  He in turn called me a terrorist and said he would report me to the FBI.  This company must be stopped.  They are adding to the destruction of the US economy by raping unsuspecting citizens of much needed funds. Luckily, the check was returned anyway because I used a dummy account for Cory and Crystal the dummies...HA HA HA!  Can't squeeze blood from a turnip. I enjoy calling Cory and Crystal everyday just to make their jobs more miserable. If everyone they scammed called them two or three times a day just to tell them what jerks they are they would have to shut down sooner or later.  They have scammed a lot of people.

    APEX SCAMs Hardworking Americans
Sadly this scam is all over the US. I did some research and found over 152 cases where Apex scammed people. Check out ripoffreport.com and contact your bank. On my part I am constantly calling and blocking their phone lines because if they stole my money and are causing this inconvenience in my life, they are going to hear about it. Your best bet however is to report them to your local banking authorities.Don't let them steal your hard earned money!!!

It just happened to me a few minutes ago. They called me twice from two phone numbers: 919-428-2000 and 877-555-2223. The middle-east-accent man claimed himself from freegifeamerica.com as well. They just kept asking my account number, trying to talk me into paying $2.50 for $1000 vacation. I wouldn't believe it and sent them off by asking them to call next week; and I won't be as stupid as I did just now. Be aware of such kind of calls.
