Help Granted replies to Any help!
From what I've read on this site, it's more likely YOU can sue THEM, than the other way around.  They reportedly harass individuals for expired debts which are illegal to collect upon.

These are all the numbers Portfolio has been using to call my job and cell phone. 866-940-7640, 1-800-592-2274, 951-329-9740, 202-494-8485. Now you know if company has to used many numbers incognito then there is a problem of a crappy non-legit business. Finally I don't owe any bills and they never leave a message.

They called and said their name was Janet and she was calling on a recorded line. Never said what company they were calling from so I did what I always do when someone who doesn't understand Proper telephone etiquette. I hung up on them, and blocked the number.

Yes, so much better to act like a child, spend 8 bucks out of your own pocket, damage your own hearing, do nothing to their hearing than to act like an adult and use the information in this thread to report and to sue them and make them pay you thousands of dollars.

This number called faith unknown location on it. I answered & they would give what they were calling about. I told the lady if this was a legitimate call then it would show up the location & not unknown. I hung up after saying that & telling her to never call my number again. Another thing is, if these are legit calls, the number search would lead to there company info not to a scammer info site.

It would be nice if Portfolio could actually find real people, in a real office, with real telephones instead of fake, fake, fake, fake, fake.
Find something else to do.  No one ever is going to give you any money so go home.

I think they would be extremely surprised hearing that no one will give them money since they collect millions of dollars every year through obviously illegal means.  Which is why I have documented and posted ways to put them in their place, and posted those means many times on this website.

Yes I would! When these people continue to call harassing you five times a day and you tell them your not the person they sure looking for And still call. This is harassment and will sue them for every penny they have! The company will be mine and I will close it down! Plain and simple!!!

Portfolio has been sued before and they're still around. Good luck on your lawsuit. Maybe you'll be the lucky one whose payout will be large enough to buy them then shut them down.
