This dumb number keeps calling me at 8:45 pm. I'm sleeping, as I get up at 3:30am.How can I stop it.

I read your notice you posted. Office of Recovery is harressing you. This is illegal. May I suggest

   that you write down the times and dates of these phone calls pertaining to Sprint. And you can call

   your phone service and request a list of all the phone calls that are made to your phone. After you

   receive the information fom your phone company send it all to The Attorney General's Office

   with a letter informing the Attorney General's Office of your complaint on Office of Recovery.

They called me 7 times today and I didn't answer. I only have prepaid cellphone service, and I am not falling for some scam. I have good credit record and I don't owe money, I will call the consumer advocacy, my lawyer, and the police. they better watch out.

I have been receiving several emails with a reference to this phone number.  IT IS A BIG FRAUD.  I HAVE PUT A BLOCK ON THIS PHONE NUMBER ON MY HOME PHONE AND AM BLOCKING THESE EMAILS.

They claim to be a STAFFING AGENCY and have sent me the following.  

Hi my name is Megan Sanders. I have reviewed your resume and noticed that you are a perfect fit for our Staffing Agent position. JAMES our HR Dept. is currently scheduling company overviews this week for a couple of positions that we have open. I would like you to consider what we have to offer as a company. I think we will be a great fit for you.

I think you get the idea of this.  It is a FRAUD wanting to sign you up for something OR to INTRODUCE A VIRUS TO MY PC.

To Compliant Department - you are part of this scam.  Don't disguise yourself as a solution to these phone calls.  You are the cause of these unwanted phone calls.

They called. I answered. No one picked up on the other end. When I called back, they couldn't locate my name and asked for a social security number.

They called and said explitives to me and I hung up

It's From a place called Bureau Recovery collecting in my case from Sprint...but it was still a wrong number!

Got an important call back message from 1-866-953-0300.  Call them up and got a recorded message to hit "1" to be connected.  Yeah right.  More like hit "1" to authorize a charge.

The fact that you are a collector is evidenced by your command of language and writing skill, no doubt you are at the top of your field.  For those of you who do not know, what Rick is referring to is the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and I cannot count the times that collectors break the very law that governs what they do.  If any debt collector is contacting you I would strongly suggest you educate yourself on the FDCPA and the laws of your state as they vary.  If you catch a collector breaking the law, you can sue them, turn the tables on these people!

DOn't identify who they are or where from, say it's personal. And neither of us are named as to who they want to talk to. Leave messages saying we shouldn't listen to the message if we are not who they are asking for.

they call about 3-4 times a day very annoying

this number keeps calling my house phone looking for someone that does not live at my residence. i constantly tell them that this person does not live here or they have the wrong number and to remove my number from their calling list. they say that they will remove my number but they still call me like 5-6 times a day. i want this to stop!!!

They just called me, I said I had already paid my last invoice on Sprint website, well they didn't like that..... They put me with the "manager" and he told me that I NEEDED to make the payment through them, otherwise they will report it to my credit....  They are a scam....

I always get calls from this number asking for my husband.  He is always at work when they call so I ask if I can take a message and they say "No, that's ok." and hang up.  What kind of professional doesn't atleast leave some kind of message?!?  Is this some kind of fraud or what?

This number calls me once a month, I do not answer it. I do not owe anybody to be calling me for collections, Wish they would stop.

I just received a call from this number at approx 1240PM on 30JAN2012.  This number has been robo-calling my (pay-go) mobile phone lately every couple days.  I don't answer, but it leaves a message.

First it asks about language ("Para continuar en espanol..." or whatever).  Then it asks "If this is [Mr. Name], press one; if this is not [Mr.Name] press two".  I don't know who [Mr.Name] is, and I know it's not the previous assignee of the phone number.
