I'll join the class action. I was also scammed for $708.00 last October 09. I just found out it was a scam! I am going to fill out the paperwork for Georgia's Governor Office - I found the link on one of the replies.

They are a scam. I am going thur the same thing. They took 599.00 from me and I sent out 3 different letters to them certified and one was refused and came back to me. I am in the process of doing a charge back on them . I hope this works out. I will see in a few days to what will happen with that. I think we all need to get together and do a law suite against them. Do Not list with them.

    Yep,

A word to the wise, please do thorough research on these companies before you decide to give them money.  If I'd googled this company, I would have observed these cases a lot sooner and wouldn't have given them money.  My contract with VASM is up on the 17th of this month and I don't anticipate getting a refund.  I'm out of $632 and pissed that that there are companies out here like this that can just simply take advantage of hard working citizens; and also be so complicated to find a process that works in getting this matter resolved.  If any of you have resolutions....I'm in!

I am an additional " idiot" who let my guard down and felt desperate to sell vacation share after I lost my job and used all savings, etc.etc.etc.  I have lost $299 with this scamming company, but hoped against hope that they are not the criminals they appear to be.  Any class action, I am in.   I will also contact the State Attorney in GA and FL.  My checking account was charged on 7/2/09, so my year is about up.  But I am certainly discouraged by all of these reports.  My question remains:  How can fellow humans do this to humans?  I am sick of rip offs!!  My original call came from Daytona Beach, FL from a Daryl.  I haven't lost as much as others, but I will join the ranks if it will help others to get their lost money back.  Sounds like they picked amounts depending on your hesitancy.  I am glad I hesitated enough to get it down to $299.  It took about 4 calls from "Daryl" to finally wear me down to $299.  I wish everyone well.

...Funny about someone mentioning Vonage... I have a AZ phone# and am not even in the US, LOL.
Anyway... Yes, we got screwed too, for the amount of $599, by a miss Sherri Wright. I keep reading about the 1 year thing... What does that mean? Does it mean you can actually get the money back that you lost? And how do you do that? All info is welcome.
My hubby keeps yelling at me about all this, and it wasn't even my decision to sell it through them...

I have the same contract...I called the 1st 2 numbers on the letterhead today only to learn they are both disconnected.  I called a 3rd number I had been given and a person answered the phone.  She knew nothing about the contract, etc.  We are not due for a refund until later this year; however, we wanted to reduce the price as it was (we thought) too high.  About 6 months ago these numbers and the people associated with them were operating.  Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm looks like a scam that is being allowed to continue.  Along with everyone else, perhaps the owner should be sued directly.

Which governer's office did you call, the one in GA or in TN?  We live in NV, not sure if we should file with the Attorney General here or in the location where the address is shown.
