it is a debt collection company! They are VERY rude! They called my parents in law looking for me! In the end... it wasnt even my debt to pay!

I, too, received a call from this number looking for a Nicole Roger. That's not me! 1) Go to www.clarkhoward.com - he has a "Drop Dead Letter you can send to this company. 2) Register for: Do Not Call List on-line for your state. If they continue to call you, go on-line; print form; send to your attorney general office; consumer protection division. They in turn will contact them to stop calls.

I get a phone call from the number every day.  Each day it's an automated program asking if I am so and so.  I tell them no everyday and they still call.  Can't talk to a real person then I'm not dealing with it.

We've also been called.  The name they are calling is so difficult to understand.  When I called them, they want to know my name. When pressed, they told me who they were calling.  It was not at all close to our name. I still didn't give them us, but they said they were taking our name out of the database.  That's what they told my husband about 3 months ago!

got a call from this number a few times but they don't bother to leave a message...so F***'M!!!! Makes me want to change my number.

They called and said that they were GMC credit and that his name was Oscar and that he needed to talk to me.  I don't answer 800 #'s or unknown.  If you can't bother to tell me who you are and what you want don't call.  I know I have bills past due, but I was one of the unfortunate who was laid off and for some reason had my unemployment revoked.  Why they can't seem to give me a reason. So if it is a debt, when I get money I will send money.

Receive many calls for someone who apparantly gave this company the wrong phone number. Tried telling Mr. Williams not to call - he was rude, hung up on me and they continue to harrass my phone calling someone who doesn't have this phone number any longer.

Mr. Williams needs to find another career - it seems this one is too much for him!

I work for a collection agency and debt collectors are not supposed to call debtors before 8am or after 9pm in the debtors time zone. He violated the FDCPA guidelines. If you feel that he is violating FDCPA call the Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint. They can be fined thousands to millions of dollars per violation. The person who called here was named Raul. I informed him that he violated FDCPA so if he calls again I will file complaint with FTC. Remember they cannpt threaten you with anything garnishment, jail, that sort of thing. Just tell them to cease and desist if they continue to call file a complaint.

I took the advice from Terri Lee after I got a call at 7:04 am. The guy didn't know I was recording the call... So when he wanted to play "Mafia King Pin" and threaten me with Murder, Kidnapping, and even Sodomy... I was ready to play it back for him... I have not gotten another call since.
By the way he did have the right name but had bogus info.

P.S. the phone recording software is "TRx phone recorder"...it comes in handy.

I have received several calls asking for a Shannon W. and leaves a message for her to call back immediately. I have no idea who they are asking for as my name is no way close to the name of Shannon

Is Oscar the only person who works there. He called me and was very, very, very ugly and pushy. I hung up and he called back three times. Each time asking him please do not call this number, please do not call this number, please....    Then an hour later, I called from a different phone and he answered. I called because I was curious. I mean, if I have an outstanding debt, I do want to take care of it, but what kind of debt collector curses and tries to strongarm the conversation.??? ... Oh yeah D-bag.... Here's my credit card number.... Maybe if he was nicer I might of stayed on the phone to take care of whatever he was calling about.

Got a call on my cell phone about 11 am on a Saturday morning. I got this number about 2 months ago. I had the phone off at the time so it defaulted to message mode. The caller said he was "Lee Jones" wanting to "help" someone named "Paul". I suspect it is the prior owner of the phone number. Anyway, he sounded ominous and threatening and wanted "Paul" to call him back at 877-315-0491 ext 2142. He also said he was calling from "GMC". After a little online research, I figured out that "GMC" is a collection company named "Glass Mountain Capital" from Illinois.

I received a call from this number to my Google voice number asking for my girlfriend....... New name, Mr. Fitzgerald.......... But if you call, you get him always.

Today my phone is ringing every 2 mitutes from 877-208-9952. No one is on the line it is a recording . I do not owe anyone money!!!! How do I get this to stop. I am on the no call list!!

This number, 877-208-9952, has been contacting me lately, first by computerized call and then by live person. I have not had a past-due debt since March 1993 when I was unable to work for many months after an automobile accident. I pay all bills in full each month and carry no balances so I have no idea what they could be calling about. This most recent call borders on fraud, in my opinion, as the caller pretends to be acting on my behalf, perhaps as a governmental employee. Today the caller's message said "I'm calling regarding a legal review currently being conducted on behalf of your social security number. We have some information that requires an update from you. Please call me to discuss case number....." Oh, yeah. I'm calling right now. Bye y'all!
(By the way, this company never identifies itself. I found the identity by researching calling sites online.)

This guy named "Mr. Harrington" called my boyfriend today and told him that he owes like 400 dollars from a bank account that he had closed from a bank that has a tendency to lose money and wanted him to pay for it over 7 years ago. He knows everything there is to know about my boyfriend, his ss#, address, where he works, birthdate, where we bank, etc. He has even called my bf work and talked to the secretary there twice.  He is wanting my boyfriend to call friday and make a payment by phone via check. My bf has to pay the rest of the owed amount on the third friday of next month or they are going to garnish his wages.

I told my boyfriend that when he calls back, get the company he works for, his name and all the information he can about "mr. harrington" because now a days you don't know if someone is legitimate or not.

You all sound like dead beats who are looking for a reason to get out of paying a bill if you all always paid your bills when you were supposed to or didn't avoid all the calls you wouldn't be getting called all the time. These people are simply doing there job and trying to restablize an economy that dead beats such as yourselves ruined and now want to blame others & find ANY opportunity you can once again to get out of paying back money you owe that you signed a promissary note a long time ago that you would.

I am a little shocked by what I'm reading . As a American I can say that I pay all my bills on time .I will be the first to admitt I have had a collector call me a time or two when times are bad you adapt an buckle down 2 years is to long to not be able to come up with a payment. If you overlooked a bill an are able to resolve it guess what they will help you with a arrangement . I have paid my account's over two,three months . 50 dollars a month on 1,000.00 dollars.I think that's a little   unreasonable.Let's look at the big picture, everytime you don't pay a bill you give the company the option to sue,garnish or write off the debt, when a debt is written as a tax write off the government takes a loss which is reaccessd on to the taxes of your community also since the writeoff coupled by the rest of your community writeoff resulting in school funds an programs cut's also they cannot add job's then to make up for the loss they then raise taxes to balance the deficit so when you are conspiring how not to pay your bill there is one other issue america has in that catatgory illegal alien's wake up take a look in the mirror an smell the coffey.your children an your niehbors children depend on it.......
