They called my number, left no message.  Strange since my bills are being paid on time.

The concern is the calls to folks who have nothing to do with the dept. that needs collecting, but I guess you are to busy trying to not fall off your high horse to notice that....

This company refuses to conduct business via snail mail, they say they will only do it over the phone.  Goes to show how much of a scam they are if they can only conduct business over the phone.

They are still calling me refusing to verify any debt via snail mail.  Come on everybody, the more of us that complain about this company to the FTC the more likely they are to do something about them like shut them down.

A Phil Hastings, from this company, claimed he mailed me a personal letter that I requested.  Why would he send a "personal" letter when I asked for written verification of the so called debt?  Sounds like proof to me of it being a scam, especially if they can't put it in black and white.  I've reported them to the FTC, if I had recieved that so called "personal" letter it was going to go to the state attorney general.

Get this..... West Asset Management and Glass Mountain Capital are ONE in the SAME!!  Previously I've recieved calls from West Asset Management using a local number and as of today I recieved a call from Glass Mountain Capital using the SAME EXACT local number that West Asset used.

I received a call..twice...5 minutes apart this afternoon from this phone number.  He said there was a situation at the GMC office and I needed to call and straighten it out before something worse happens.  Huh?  My GMC has been paid off for 7 years!  I'm not about to call him back.  When he hung up he said "Good Luck".

I hope you rot in hell you [***]. I owe no one money, yet I have been called over 900 times looking for an ex wife, dead family members, people I dont even know with similar surnames and much more. For the past 2.5 years I have had calls all day long. I had to hire A MAJOR LAW FIRM, and we filed almost 30 lawsuits to get this to stop. Yet even after we sued and won, a year later they were back calling again and we sued again. I am a retired Navy man and a retired cop. This harassment went on until I got fed up.

Someone called stating that an employer had looked into my credit and now they had that information they would be seeking a wage garnishment unless I paid them the balance right now.  I had no clue what they were speaking of and could not get any other information other than my wages would be garnished.  They are EXTREMELY rude and very BULLYING.

They continually call on two accounts for my mom (who passed away in Feb). I am the administrator of the estate and have told them on several occasions that I will pay them once the estate finishes through probate, yet they call every other day.

I agree with other posters that they are extremely rude and very pushy about getting their money. I have told them that if they continue to harass me, they will be the last of her bills to get paid if there is enough money by that time.

The crumbs will re-age the debt they are trying to sell, make them validate the debt first if you deside to talk to them.

Glass Mountain is the same third party collection agency that is calling me now and using area code numbers.These calls has be going on for 21/2 years now from other collection agency and I never answered them I turned my ringer off when I got this new numbers. All my bills are paid on time and my credit report don't have any delinquent debt.

Glass Mountain Capital uses different phone numbers to deceive people into thinking that a lot of bill collectors are calling, but they can't fool peoples that knows they don't have any delinquent debt. Don't answer the phone or call them back, let them waste their time.

Remember they have to prove it is your debt.

I list their number in my auto forward list. I set the number to auto forward back to them. I don't get any calls from that number again, but I only have 10 spots for auto forward. By the way, they are looking for someone I don't know and have been calling for sense 2007.

OK - I believe it is the law - but if it is not the law, regardless of what the law states - are you actually [***] enough to think someone is going to send you money when they do not even know who you are and you refuse to prove it to them?  If you want my money, you have to prove to me that you are legally responsible to be allowed to collect it.  My debts I will pay only to people that I know.  I must see you face to face, or I must see your company phone number with the correct caller ID and the correct name in my window.  I do not believe you work for the company that I owe money to.  If I owe a debt, I am going to pay only the person that I owe.  I am NOT going to pay someone else when I do not owe money to them, I will pay the person that I owe it to.
