shows up as toll free 877-222-0064 I did not answer it to see if they would leave a message in which they never. I tried to call the # back and it is not a service # able to recieve calls.

They call 2 or 3 times a day asking for william. I even answered once and told them william does not have this phone number, the lady said okay, but I still get the calls all the time. So annoying.

Guy said his name was Alex.  Wanted to talk about a "legal" matter.  Wanted to take care of a $600.00 bill that was paid this time last year.  Kept saying "how can we take care of this right now".

A guy named Alex keeps calling my husbands work over a debt we can't pay. Has been told several times not to call and now my husband is getting into trouble.

got a message from some people i do consulting work for. they said there was a message left for them for me to call Regina at 877-222-0064 ext. 4028. i did a search for the number and it belongs to the law offices of alan m. laskin.  they have a website that shows the number at resolvemyaccount.com

Neighbor came to my door and said they had called her because they had tried to contact me but couldn't. I barely know this neighbor, no clue how they got her name/number. Is that legal? I don't even know who they represent.

This woman named Vanessa called and said she was from the law firm of Allen Roskin. Well, this idiot doesn't realize that I work for an attorney! I had a lot of fun calling this person and telling her it was illegal to be representing a false entity and firm. I was hung up on.

In order for them to stop calling, you must send or fax them a "Cease & Desist" letter advising them to stop all communication via telephone.  Request all communication be sent through letter only.  This is the first step.

Second, request the company to send a "Verification of Debt".  This will ensure that are properly following FDPCA code.  They'll have 30 days to respond.  Again, send this letter to them via Certified Mail request sign signature.  If no response, send a follow up letter.  If they contact you again, sue them for FDPCA violation.

Company like these are quick to settle such matter in order to cost effective run as a business.  Expensive litigation is not what their seeking.

Here's a legal way for you to sue them for FDPCA violation...

When they call, recorded the message, have someone aside from yourself pickup the phone (no spouse(CA is community state)).  They'll request to speak with you.  Have the individual tell them you're not available, but did reference to them that you wanted to work out the account.  

Have the collector devulge personal information (Credit Report, SSN, etc.) to the third party.  Have the individual state to the collector that he/she is willing to give funds to you to pay off or attempt to satisfy the account.  Have the collector fax over some sort of transmission letter to the.

Bamm, sue them for FDPCA violation for giving information to a third party.

Send "Cease & Desist" Letter.

Request all communication be sent via mail only.

Request verification of debt.

Request current status of legal matter.  Suit filed? Request case no. of current pending litigation. (they don't have to provide this) 600.00 will have to be in small claims.  If they lie, sue them for ethical tactics.

I'm not sure, a coworker took the message, when a caller named Misty asked for me by my full name. I have recently filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy, and turned in all my debts. This is the first call I've received since Dec. 3, 2008, so don't know if it was for a last attempt for a debt, or a telemarketer.

Have your trustee contact them.  Simple as that.

It's actually the Law office of Alan Laskin and it is a real law office. Do your homework before you make yourself look like a fool. Maybe you shouldn't work for a attorney since you seem to be a idiot. Just some friendly advice

they called me during dinner....and wanted me to ask my daughter, who does not live here...a fact that the caller, Matt McLevich knew, to call this number back ..and when I hung up on him..he called me right back! I told him never to call back because he does not have my permission to use my phone number.  BTW, My daughter has great credit and so do I....this is a huge scam because my daughter's phone number is not unlisted!

These people are bottom feeders and Matt bragged about sleeping on $100.00 pillow cases and told me he had no problem sleeping at night.

Calls at all times of day and night on my personal and work telephone numbers. States his name is Mr. Konkel calling from The Law Offices of Andrea Shearer at 877-222-0064 ext 4056. my caller ID shows it coming from 916-478-6795 & 6798 and various other number  similar. Not even sure if they are being honest about where they are calling from. Sounds like a collection agency.
