I don’t answer, if it’s important they will leave a message, no messages were ever left.  I’ll just call AAA myself to renew or send in the renewal paperwork.

Received a call/voicemail indicating they were from AAA and my membership that is set up for auto-renewal (it is not) had an issue because the credit card didn't work.  My membership expired over a month ago, so I think a CC issue would have been noticed before this. She also indicated that she "had a discount for me" if I called her back. *DELETE MESSAGE*

I got a call from this number they claim to be from the AAA. They tried to get me to give them a credit card number over the phone. When I checked my account, I could see that I am paid up through until next year. The reason they gave for needing a new credit card was that my old one had expired. I’ve checked my account and I am using bank accounts to pay. if it smells fishy, it’s probably a fish. I know that numbers can be easily changed. You can go into your Sim card software on your phone and change your caller ID right now.

I know that, even though the number is real, the call was a scam. The caller said hold on for a minute after I didn’t immediately give him my credit card information. I heard a click when the call came back on the line. Did you know that it is easy to record a call by connecting it into a conference call without having that this call is being recorded announcement?

I noted earlier that it is very easy to change the caller ID to any phone number. Additionally, I noticed that my account was not due to expire for the next 12 months. The information that the caller presented was old. It is very easy for scammers to get your information after one of the large companies has a data breach.

    Do not be fooled.

This must be a scam.  I paid my AAA in person on Saturday and today, Monday, I get a call?  No VM left. I will not give them a credit card over the telephone.
