Keep calling my home phone its annoyin don't you hate that

9/25/08 - 8:07 am - I was at the bus stop with my son and when I walked in the door there was a beeping coming from the telephone.

I did *69 and found out the number. It was 877-233-8527 which I googled and found out it was RPM again. They have called me 2x this week from 2 different phone numbers. I found out that they are a collection agency for Sprint. We have Sprint as our land line company but we don't owe them anything. I wish they would stop calling us. All they get is our machine and then all we get is a beeping. They never  leave a message. Ridiculous. I gave the Do Not Call Registry their number. I filed my complaint. I think everyone should do it. I have been on the registry for several years and wasn't getting any annoying phone calls for a long time and then these folks started calling. Grrr....

I am getting harassing phone calls all day, up to 10-15 a day, they don't leave a message, they don't identify themselves.  I am Deaf/Hard of hearing and I am having trouble getting them to stop their annoying phone calls, they won't accept my TTY, Video Phone, or 711 relay calls and keep hanging up on the the relay operater. They are taking advantage of my disability of not being able to communicate like a hearing person.

they been calling for months and dont give a real reason why they called. all i can remeber they called a few times and when i wait on the phone to speak to them after about 5mins when someone comes to the phone they only hang up. its rude and it pisses me off

Verizon customers beware!!! This RPM scam company calls me numerous times each day using 3 or 4 different #'s. They started with me about a month ago using a 703 area code. The only time I talked to them they were very rude and would not offer any account info only that I owed Verizon money....totaly false. When I questioned further they hung up. I filed a complaint with FTC last week and they stopped calling from the 703 # but now they are using the 877 #. It looks like they have access to numerous numbers, they have to be stopped.

877-233-8527. Woman said she was collecting $11.88 for Verizon from 2004. I never used Verizon and only came to America in 2007. I use only refillable telephones which I must pay before I use. I said it did not matter anyway because I be without a job and she said that my problem. I even must post this on friend's computer. The caller ID says RPM. They call 7 days each week and sometimes 4 times a day. The lady is a nasty person.

877-233-8527. Nasty individual. Collecting old debt for Sprint. Company is RPM a collections agency. I never had Sprint in my life, but they will call back tomorrow. I've never even heard of the person they are asking to speak with.

Talking with your "friends" solves no problem on this one.  You pay taxes to support the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).  You can post your complaint on their website (like I did). If you flood them with complaints on these guys something may get done about them. Venting here has no affect, unfortunately.  www.fcc.gov  Good luck to us all.

1-877-233-8527 were the collectors.  RPM stands for Receivables Performance.  They had a mixup in their database.  My 8-year-old answered the phone and got a bit mouthy with the collection jerk...and then this LOW LIFE actually used profanity with my child!!

I made a BIG stink with the company and got the company owner on the phone.  I was hoping that I had the conversation recorded.  If so, the owner assured me that he would fire the agent on the spot.  He gave me all of his personal information:

Still punished my son for his conduct with an adult on the phone - no matter how much of a scumbag the man was.  Unfortunately, he still has his job.

The Cell is 206-769-5552.  Mr. Polus seemed cordial, and said they were not in Atlanta.. The 206 area code is Seattle, I think.

I received a call from a Jason wanting me to ring him at the 877 233 8527, it appears after reading the comments below, it is a scam of some sort.

the rules, report them to your State Attorney Generals Office.
Myself, I suggest we call them as often as they call us, and make sure that you send them an e-mail, all of your friends send them an e-mail, and all of your friends friends send them e-mails as well. Just to say hi and let them know how unhappy we are with thier business tactics. Oh, and have everybody you know call them as well.

what is up with this company ? i know nothing about them my daughter owed a bill they are trying to collect but wanted her to pay by credit card or give them direct acess to her bank acct please give me some feedback

The person calling is asking for my son. But when asked what it was regarding they wouldn't disclose what its about other than it's a business call.  Sorry, if it's a business call they would already have his number.

I have been getting calls from this company, only just recently, and I think it's because I signed up for something online. If Sprint does use this as a collection agency-- I would be very surprised, because I actually did have an outstanding bill with the company, and letters were sent beforehand, and the person I spoke with was very polite. I doubt this is legit.

Caller asked for my husband, as he was not available,was given this call back number.  The caller refused to identify the company or reason for call.  A previous messsage was left on our voice mail with number only, no other information or id of caller.

WTF....rude [***]....Yep it's all about Sprint if you've had an account w/them! RPM should stand for.... rude prick moochers!
