Just got an email, with this phone number  listed.  The email states that only the person listed should read it.
They list the company as Receivables Performance Managment and provided a link.  If you select the link it asks
for your Zip Code and states that you have now agreed to conduct business by email.  This is a scam, I was receiving phone calls for a while, from this number.  I do not believe that this is collecting from Sprint or AT&T, as those companies, usually contact you first, prior to taking any action.

I receive several calls per day from this number. The thing is, as far as I know, I don't owe anyone any money. This has been going on for at least a month. A couple of weeks ago, I looked up the number and found these posts and posts on other sites and that the number was a collection agency. Since I make sure I pay my bills, I wanted to find out who I supposedly owed money to, so I started answering the calls rather than screening them.

They just hang up on me, so if I actually owe someone money, they will never get it because I am unaware of it. What kind of collection agency hangs up when someone answers the phone?  Looks like they are sleezing their clients as well, if they have real clients?

I also have never used Sprint, because I worked for the phone company when the whole 'pick a long distance carrier' implementation started and Sprint seemed to have some pretty sleazy tactics. We had too many reports of Sprint signing up people for their long distance plan without the subscriber knowing it was done for the allegations not to be true. I would never, ever sign up for Sprint for cell or long distance or anything else. So if these guys are a dedicated Sprint collector, it seems they
haven't fallen far from the mother tree.

Phones every day, even after they said they would stop.

The telephone companies should collectively refuse to service this company.

Don't be fooled by them, they are a scam,I get calls like these a lot and each time I report it to my District Attorney, you can too, just look up DA for your state on Google, your DA will help stop these companies. Be careful, once you pay them. Your bank account will become empty!!!!!! Trust me, I have been a victim of these calls before.

I don't owe money to anyone, so I never answer when this number calls my LAND PHONE.  The voice will say it's RPM, RTM, etc., and to call 877-233-8527.  I don't bother answering or calling alls coming from fools who have too much time on their hands, or live by scamming others.  Try to find their OFFICIAL WEB SITE.  They don't have one, because such a debt collection firm doesn't exist.  I don't understand why anyone bothers calling them or debating with them.

Don't give them any information. There is truly a legitimate collection company, but they are called Receivables Performance Management, but this company is not it.  The bogus numbers are 1-877-233-8527 and they use (206) 519-6603.

If they left a message, then they are required to send you a letter within 5 days of that message.  Personally I love to make mince meat out of those people.  Make them follow the law which they always have a hard time doing.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
