- Chris replies to ChrisContinued ....
I called the number 877-744-6004 that was listed on a fax from ASAP Travel & Tours.
A guy answered and said, "thanks for calling, this is reservations"
I asked him, "what is your company name?"
He responded, "um um, RSVP Travel"
I then told him, "oh I got this fax with this number from ASAP"
He told me, "sorry, you have the wrong number" and hung up on me
I *67 to block my number and called back, got the same guy....
"thanks for calling, this is reservations"
I asked him, "Is this ASAP Travel?"
He responded, "Why, yes, it is, how may I help you?"
Me: "I called a little while ago and you told me it was RSVP"
Him: "You must be mistaken" and proceeded to hang up on me again.
------
What I got out these two phone calls:
1) Their right hand doesn't know what their left hand is doing
2) They're really bad liars
3) They're horrible at trying to prove they're reputable, if they were, they wouldn't hang up on you for simply asking a question
4) They must have been busted many times if they're using multiple company names and are shady with their practices.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!! - Chris replies to Robert BerathianI'd be willing to bet you received it from Canada or India, am I right?
These two countries have VERY LOOSE laws when it comes to rip offs.
Secondly, if I were you, I'd call your resort in Hawaii. See if they have your reservation, I bet they don't.
Then again, nevermind, you probably work for these criminals. - prestoni just got one of these faxes and traced the sending fax number to elk grove illinois, but didnt have a specific address, but came back as MB financial at white pages .com (reverse lookup)

- Big Jake replies to marbellaviva| 1 replyI was not lucky enough they took our money of $400, they put you on a carvan of different phone numbers they use a agency by ALTCharge out of Las Vegas they must know what is happening then they give you VIP Vacations then someone answer reservation you speak to someone name Lisa, she advise myself and the bank it will be coming by mail certified. When you call back they close at 3:00 p, m. when they send you that e mail that is how they identify that your money has been stolen so they know exactly what to tell you because of the code on the paper. I have recently contacted the FBI if more of us that have been scam can get together we can get them arrested. One lady called me on yesterday and thank GOD she was lucky we need more for evidence please contact me at 1-337-380-3414

- Lan Woody| 1 replyAs of today, 30 Jun 11, I have been trying to call this place at 877-261-9195 and the people are so rude. Everytime I called there's a different story. I'm going to call the Better Business Bureau in that area. They took $300 from my account but they do have my account info. I think I'm beginning to think this is a scam.

- Diane replies to dave| 1 replyI thought I was being scammed also but I called the Rivera in Vegas and asked if they had heard of ASAP. They confirmed they were a contract travel agency that they used. I will write back after my trip in September
- Diane replies to OLLIE| 1 replyI have done some extensive research with my husband. I gave them $600 for a trip to Vegas, even called the Rivera and the confirmed that ASAP is a vendor with them. But when we called the Rivera's account department, they had never heard of them. We canceled our checking acount and opened a new one. When my husband called back to ASAP the numbers were disconnected- interesting. Notice that they do nothave their web site listed on the flyer. A friend of mine how is in the travle business said that no self respecting agency would send out a blanket fax about special deals. If at all possible, cancel, they could take more money out of your account.
- Diane replies to DianeWe checked further and it is a scam. The Rivera has heard of ASAP but ASAP Travel n Tours is using another agencies same name which probably is real agency. I think it is interesting that they don't list their web site on their flyer. We tried calling ASAP back to cancel and their phone lines were discounted.
We canceled our bank account and got a new number but we are not out any money.
Also my friend in the travel business said that respected travel agencies DO NOT send deals through the fax machine, I trust her. - Nemo replies to Lan WoodyLan: Can you get any clearing information from your bank. Where was the money deposited? You can usually follow the money back to a physical address. I have already filed a complaint with the FCC and would like to file a criminal complain re the death threat but I need a physical address. I am checking with law enforcement but if the state they are in is NOT a two party state, I may be able to post the digital recording.
- AlexEveryone should just screw with these people, it's obviously a scam. If everyone called them and started messing with them, it'd be pretty funny AND they'd deserve it. Don't be stupid, no travel agency would offer $200 for an 8 night trip to the Carribean. Come on, use common sense. Fight back and mess with these [***].
- reina del mari work at wal mart , and we received this fax too with number 11 -877-774- 6004
- T THOMAS replies to beckySo did everything work out afte ryou paid them because I am considering booking obne of their trips myself?
- chispas 2 replies to daveYou're right there are not complaints because there is NO COMPANY with that name reporting on the BBB website. They DO NOT exist.
- D from Michigan| 1 replyI called this number today 1-877-684-0940 and spoke with Alan at ext. 813 we was very polite. He told me I would only have to pay the $249.88 per person buy check and I would have to book the trip 90 days in advance and the price did include air-fare but not any drinks or tips on the ship and he told me what the amount of the tips per day per person would possible be. This all sounded correct because I have been on cruises in the past. I asked how I would have to pay if I could use a credit card he said only checks would be accepted by phone and the rest of the amount could be done with a credit card. He also said my documents would arrive and I would have to be at home because a signature was required. He (Alan) was very polite and helpful answering all my questions. Sounded good and I was ready to book. Than I called my sister and gave her the run down and she turned me onto this site, THANK GOODNESS!!!! There is a ASAP Travel & Tour on the net but I would guess its not this one.
Almost was out $500.00 and just like everyone else I work hard for my money.- Call type: Fax
