- JA| 2 repliesThis is a total scam. Tried to tell me they were collecting a debt from 2015. The lady that called me said her name was Kelly Patterson from the legal department of CHS Mediator Group. Wanted me to make a down payment of 500.00 and then set up possibly a monthly payment. She sent me an email to my email address (which she had.) Web address www.championstragedyholdings.com. Sure there is a web address but everything you click on says not available or something to that nature. Also used no. 844-950-3946. I blocked both telephone numbers and blocked the email address.

- BigA replies to JAYes, we already knew all of that because it was already posted in this thread. I'm guessing that you did not take the time to read the other posts?
- StevenLisa from Champion Strategy holdings called and left a recorded message claiming I owed a debt. I have no outstanding debt so call is a scam. In any event do not respond and make a report to local consumer protection agency in your state.

- WendyMichelle who answers the phone every time said that my mother took out a loan with advance America prior to her stroke. They would not give me any information about advance America but was happy to ask me to pay this debt. When I called advance America not only could I not look up an account with my mother Social Security number but the representative said it sounds like a scam we don’t do that. When I looked up their website it looked kind of official. However there are links to social media don’t work and if you Google their address you can see that it is an apartment complex or a condo building.

- Andy WDO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE BACK!
Same scam message from Champion Strategy Holdings as the rest. They didn't even give a name of the person they were trying contact in the message, maybe just calling numbers at random? BBB report on them says it all: five 5-star reviews (must have a small family) and 41 1-star reviews (many saying they only gave it one star because they couldn't give zero stars). No wonder they get an F-rating. They mostly seem to try and collect on expired debts using threatening language.
Anytime someone threatens to take legal action against you by phone it's a red flag. Legal matters are handled by mail, usually with a proof of delivery being required. And I can't believe that failure to respond to a voice mail can ever forgo any legal rights you have. (However, don't ignore legal paperwork delivered by mail or a process server). Not a lawyer, just my opinion.- Caller: Champion Strategy Holdings

- Fefe| 1 replyI received a call from 1-877-311-2348 this morning. Female said her name was Michael Wood with Champion Strategy Loan about a debt I know nothing about. Call was robo call and said to press 1 for contact or to call this number. Checked Caller ID and the number was 606-283-2250 in Kentucky. Since when is a loan company a collection agency. Checking the number gave the name of Michael Lewis.

- MA| 1 replyCall comes from a local number but demands that I call the 877 number back. Michelle Lewis has called me everyday this week leaving threatening messages about collecting a debt. I don't have any outstanding debts so I will not call her back and I have blocked both numbers. This is a scam and I hope no one falls for it.

- Stacie| 2 repliesMy Just turned 19 year old has received 2 messages from (877)311-2348 Michelle with champion strategy holdings, doesn't say who or what kind of debt trying to collect. He has had same # for almost 10 years and has ZERO debt again because he is 19 years old blah blah etc. Website only shows business, product and financial consulting, NOT debt or debt collector. These scam likely's are getting more ridiculous. Glad he told me instead of calling and giving his information to scammers.

- Stacie replies to FefeMy son has gotten 2 in last 3 months he said. She said her name, Michelle couldn't quite get last name sounded like Who/Good maybe. She had a slight accent she was seeming to hide, but same number and same company she claims as you said. He hasn't even started working on his credit to even have any debt since he just graduated h.s and started working. It's frustrating and crazy knowing SOOOO many people fall for the BULL$@#T give info and who knows what can do with info and or paying a debt you don't owe. Ugh
- Stacie replies to BigAEXACTLY! Just thankful he didn't answer or call back before he forwarded it to me. Kids these days are so naive when it comes to social security number, and believing crap.
And yes I knew it was some sort of scam but always have to confirm with Google. 😉 - Stacie replies to MAMy thoughts exactly! Usually I just ignore and let it go and don't report it, however when someone calls one of my children and leaves messages on the phone...it totally changes my thinking.

- Andy WSame as everyone else. Clearly a scam. Didn't even give a name of the person she was trying to contact. One indicator of a scam is that they claim failure to respond to their phone call loses your legal rights. I don't believe that you can lose any legal rights over a stupid recorded message. Others have stated that they can't even validate that you actually have a valid debt, just seem to be calling numbers at random and trying to scare people into paying them.
