- Jones| 1 replySame exact message but said Mrs Chapman was who was calling. A debt could not verify with who, or a social security number, or even a date or paperwork where any debt was owed. Scammer trying to fleece Homeowners Mostly I Believe😡
Going to look how I file a complaint with the FCC or somebody!- Caller: Mrs Chapman
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BigA replies to JonesSince the FCC has absolutely no jurisdiction over debt collection calls why are you going to file a complaint with them? Why not file a complaint with the previously posted Federal and State Agencies that do have jurisdiction?
- B replies to yazDid they call you almost everyday?
- Mary HarveyI received a voice-mail message on my home landline answering machine for me from Champion Strategy Holdings, Michelle Lewis. She stated they received a file for review, press number to be connected to the next available agent, or my legal Representative could call back, time sensitive. Otherwise, if I didn't call 1-877-311-2348 back, this is an attempt to collect a debt, I would be prosecuted. Something about recommendation from my County processor. Phone call registered ID as 987-9665 (with No area code provided). I will be speaking to our Sheriff's department. The debt they are speaking about is unknown. I currently am Not past due on any debt under my name (unless this is fraud) and my husband's estate was settled in 2012-13. Thank you for your review/input on this matter. Mary Harvey 5/8/22

2302 parklake drive suite 690 Atlanta GA 30345- Caller: Champion strategy holdings
- Call type: Unwanted
- BigA replies to NoneThat address is a virtual office. I doubt that sending them a letter of any kind will actually reach them. The suite number is different from the suite number that they registered with the State of Georgia. See page 4.

- LewisI returned the "urgent" debt collection call to the number given in their voicemail message. I reached a person identified as James Cox. The debt was for a credit card that I supposedly had between 1988 and 2008, with a debt of $4,961.58. The address was my former address in Alaska.
I relocated to New Mexico in 2002 and don't recall ever having or using this credit card. James Cox had my social security number and current address. I told him it wasn't my debt and even if it was, the statute of limitations is four years in New Mexico. He argued that that statute only applies if I notified the credit card company of my new address (a big lie). So for six years the credit card statements were going to Alaska. And here it is 14 years later and he wants to convince me it is my debt and to start making payments? Be aware that once you make a payment you RESET the statue of limitations. This company is just this side of a SCAM. They will lie to get you to take responsibility for a debt you don't have just to RESET the statute of limitations. He threatened me with court actions and additional debt collection costs bringing the total to more than $10,000. Don't let them scare you!- Caller: James Cox

- Steve| 1 replyThis IS A SCAM CALL ,, The Statue of Limitations on what they are calling about has passed. DONT PAY THEM A DIME - IT WILL RESTART THE STATUTE of LIMITATIONS CLOCK. Block their Number or call them back and talk crap & give them a fake SSN and name & waste their time.

- BigA replies to SteveEven better, how about suing them? Why didn't you put that option in your post?
- Business Office| 1 replyThis call comes in multiple times a day to our business. It is referencing a Cindy Rivas and it is Michelle Lewis with "Champion Strategy Holdings" stating that this was an attempt to collect a debt from a professional debt mediator. The message said to press 1 or call back 877-311-2348. Failure to do so would result in a forfeiture of rights. This is not a valid employee and by calling back they just ask for a new phone number. Do not give them a number. It is an annoyance and needs to be stopped.
