i have heard that so much when i was dong that work.  the best part about it is that those who dont want to pay  or have convinced themselves they owe nothing always call back months later AFTER  getting an attorney letter to try and take care of it but by that time its too late. hilarious i used to love people like you.

ever stop to think someone could have possibly de frauded his name and info and opened an acocunt? peopel do not collect on 20 yr old debts.  If you were concerned at all about your relative and there info you would have bothered to probe yourself. you could have helped convct a criminal although it is usually a family memebr who takes a ssn from someone who has passed.

How can a phone number be fraud? My guess is you googled it and found this site which is nothing more than people looking for something to do.  I feel sorry for you going through life not thinking for yourself.  The stuff on here is entertaining though i give you that.

If he calls again I won't stay on the line though.  I'm not going to get spammed with calls becase someone near me is in debt.  Can I legally do something about it if they call every day?  We're on the do not call lists...

Tell me, are you one of those lazy people who just wait to try and sue someone becuase you don't want ot pay your own bills or a scumbag lawyer who feeds on debtors wallets to try and get paid while at the same time putting a dent in the economy buy getting people out of paying a debt and handeling there business like they should.  Yes there are some bad collectors out there and those are the only ones you hear about from the media.  In reality collection agencies pump money back into the economy while people like you suck it away. Find something better to do with your time.  Maybe a real job.

Dear Reality: Stay in school and learn to spell: remember those capital letters also. Work hard and some day, you too could earn $8.00 per hour and move out of mommy and daddies basement.

Look them up in your states registration office and make sure they are licensed in you state. They often try to get around this(talk about not paying bills!!!)
They are nothing more than a small collection agency that wants to be like the big boys in New York. They can do absolutely nothing UNLESS they file suit against you in which case you will receive a summons from your local court. If you get one ,DO NOT IGNORE IT. Get an attorney to represent you.
In all reality, everyone should pay legitimate bills--but never pay something you don't owe.

He can put a note on your neighbors door if he wants.
Now that you know who he works for and that they are a debt collection company, it is illegal for him to contact you anymore.(federal law)

Likewise for the person that was called---dosen't have to tell him squat!!!  Dosen't even have to answer the phone---no law.

Well, this number keeps calling my fax machine. I have asked my fax machine to call back but it won't do it. I finally got mad and slapped the crap out of my fax machine and switched it to my answering machine. Now the number calls it and says that by listening to the recording it admits that it is the person they are looking for.I was talking to my answering machine "Willie" the other day and told it I was sure glad to find out what its name was!!! Thanks CACI for naming my machine "Willie".
       These people are uneducated IDIOTS--You do NOT have to tell them anything. If and when someone serves you a summons to appear in court,take action to protect yourself--until then, tell them to take their Willie and stick it !!!!!!!!! HA!!!!

Your fax machine (Willie) has not been paying it's bills! If it paid it's bills we would not be calling it. Don't let it off the hook by disconnecting it, tell it to be a man and PAY IT'S BILLS!

If you own this machine, you should make sure it's not running up any more bills that it cannot pay. Fax machines like yours are destroying the American Economy!
