And they can not get proof.  The fact is that Riverwalk is a scumbag debt purchaser who hires out to collect crap debts that they got roped into buying.  (smart business it isn't).  Unfortunatley debts are still "legally owed"  but no fear of any proof of debt on this.  Good luck to you.

"THE FACT" really needs to look up the meaning of the word "legally". Legally would infer that a court of law could up hold a judgement. While a debt is always owed until it is paid, when the statute of limitations runs out--drop the word legal because a court will throw it out --EVERY TIME-if advised it is over the limit. PERIOD--look it up

Is CACi out of business?  I have two different debt collection companies that have sent me letters about the same bill.  Just trying to figure out who I am supposed to pay and why two people are contacting me about the same bill (which is only 93 dollars, so there is no need to split it or anything)

I got a call from this number too. They are CACI, a collection agency. The other number of theirs is 314-756-9352. It was regarding a charged off US Bank account credit card. I called them back and they did not state the name of their company, nor did they leave a message when they called me. They are rude and unprofessional. Avoid contact with this company and seek an attorney who specializes in handling debt collectors.

No, CACi still exists. They are calling me twice or three times a day. I have them on call reject as they are a bunch of rude and unprofessional jerks. They are calling me constantly about a charged off credit card. I received nothing in writing from this company. By law a collector is supposed to send you a letter and give you 30 days to dispute the debt and validate it before they start collection. They put a hard inquiry on my credit report without my authorization, too, which is illegal. Collectors are allowed to view your credit report and place a SOFT inquiry (which is a request only viewed by you), but not a hard inquiry, in which is does have an impact on one's credit score.
I have contacted my attorney about them.

Keep calling and its automated asking for someone with same last name but we have no clue who the heck they are talking about. I press 3 to say they have the wrong number but they still keep calling once or twice a week automated asking for this person. Apparently, the press 3 option does not work.

okay so, ever sence i got my phone this number has called me almost everyday asking for a guy named david, ive ansered the phone anout 30 out of thoseabout 400 times, i am not david you have the wrong number. but they keep calling me back, and one time, the guy asked for david and i said wrong number, he screamed into the phone "SURE YOU ARN'T!" sarcasticly and i hung up cause i didnt know what to say. IDIOTS!

The person I have talked to "Larry" has always been very cooperative.  I did ask why he did not give me a chance to answer the phone after two rings today and he apologized.  Larry worked with me to set up a arrangement that was argreeable to both of us.
