You have a lot of choices:
1) Call the number back-ask to speak to Roger D. Weiss. He is Chief Operating Officer at this company. Tell him the situation then tell him not to call you any more. Record all of this if it is legal in your state and tell old Roger that you are recording. If he hangs up-like they all do-
2) Send a Cease Communication letter to them. Just Google Cease Communication letter and you'll get thousands of sites to get the letter.
See you're not alone!!!! Send it cert/ret/rec/req. Legally, they can contact you one more time after they receive the letter to tell you what they are going to do.
3) If they call anymore than one time , report them to your states Attorney General.
4) Hope like hell they call you a lot because each call is worth $1000.00 to you--keep accurate records of the calls and record them if possible.
5) when you build up enough $$$$ or when you tire of the game-contact an attorney and sue,sue,sue. They will settle out of court because it looks bad for them.
That's what I do and make a lot of money for it simply because a bunch of little kids think they are "HOT SHOTS" and ends up costing their employer tons of money. That's what I call a "stimulas package"

Never talk to a bill collector; by the time they call you, it's already on your credit report--to stay there until the sol expires. Once on your credit report, if you pay it that does not get rid of it; in fact it's worse than not paying and still stays for 7 years. Bill collectore have NEVER helped anyone but themselves---to your money. I'll wait out the sols.

I already told you what I do for a living.Dream on idiot. Look at the jobs that are hiring--lots of collectors--turnover is very,very high. If kids made that kind of money, the turnover rate would not be anywhere near that; and don't tell me they are expanding as we all know this is not true.You are just about broke. Find other work. Thank you and this is true.  Although the call was for an individual I knew, he did not reside at my residence.  The operator was rude, and further refused to provide an opportunity for me to speak with management.  No help is obviously their goal with that kind of tactic!

This is true and they are indeed rude.  I actually called to provide proper information; however, their behavior warranted a hang up!

Debt collectors they are!

i got a call and it was unknown, he acted like a friend asking for me by my first name, not knowing who it was i was like she isnt here right now and he asked me like 10000 diffrent questions not even mentioning he was a debt collector. it was my bday and i was at my friends house and her house phone started ringing he asked what phone that was in the background and even where i went! i was like OMG. but still failed to mention he was a debt collector.

Your company has already been sued and lost over just this kind of deception !!! Just ask Shaun(jason) and Roger if you don't believe me.

I think this company went out of business recently. I was trying to service their account and no one answers their office line. Also when I drove there, a lot of police cars were in the parking lot---so--I don't really know what happened or what to think.

This guy called looking for our daughter, I told him I would not give him a number where she is living, and he told me that I was breaking a federal law????
