I just bought a cell phone 1 week ago and I have been recieving calls from this number nearly every day! The call always comes around 9-11 am EST and is an automated voice saying "This is concerning an important business matter for ___ ___ and is not a sales call. If this is ____ ___ press 1, if _____ _____ is not available right now press 2, If ______ ____ does not live here press 3. " and then keeps looping that until I press something.
So I press 3 and hear annother automated voice saying "Your call is very important to us, Please wait to talk to the next available agent" so I wait for about a minute and a half with that message looping before they suddenly hung up on me!!

This is getting very frustrating esp since they give you no info as to who they are or why they are calling. I had to google the phone number to find this page with info about it.

get daily calls with a ref number to call back, have no idea who this is and am going to find a way to report them on do not call list.

Every evening at 6:17pm, this number dials and leaves a message to answer with reference to a transaction.  Since business is never conducted at this hour, the source is fraudulent.

This has been going on for about a month. They call every day without fail. Whether we answer or the machine picks up, there is a recorded message that says "this is not a sales call. Please call back at (same number) and they leave a reference number.

I recently changed my cell phone number from a CT code (where I used to live) to a PA number (where I now live) and have so far received two of these messages.
I will be filing a complaint with T-Mobile, my network provider, to see whether they can block the calls.


If they are debt collectors, they do not appear to be very good ones!

I'VE  BEEN  GETTING  THIS  CALLS  FOR  OVER A  MONTH. THEY  CALL  EVERY OTHER  DAY AND  LEAVE  MESSAGE  TO  CALL  BACK  WITH A  REFFERENCE  NUMBER.I'VE  RECEIVED THESE  CALLS  AS  EARLY AS  8AM  AND  AS  LATE  AS  9PM.     I  WANT  THESE CALLS  STOPPED,  I  AM  PARTLY  DISABLED  ADN  CAN'T  ALWAYS  GET  TO THE  PHONE.  THEY  ALWAYS  SAY  "THIS  IS  NOT A   SALES  CALL,  BUT  AN  IMPORTANT  BUSINESS  CALL."  I  AM  IN  BEHIND  IN  ANY  OF  MY  BILLS,  ALWAYS  PAID  AS  SOON  AS  THEY  COME  IN.

I've been getting the same calls 3-4 times a week. "This is not a sales call..." It bothers me that they give no company name, no information, no reason for the call. I finally called from a phone away from my home and got the same treatment. No company name, no information. I asked why they're calling me, he said, "You called me!" I asked about the company and after being hung up on several times, I was finally told the company is called "Bay Area". Several more calls, and I was told they are a "Credit Service" company. I won't give them my phone number or the reference number, so they just hang up on me.

I get the calls as well from 877-337-3099. They are most likely some scamming dog turds fishing for the innocently naive to rip off. I've been on the so-called "Do Not Call List" since it's inception and, although the number of legitimate sales calls has decreased dramatically, the number of calls from obvious scammers has continued unabated. I guess that's life in America ... laws are obeyed only by those who don't need those laws to do right.

I have been receiving calls from this number daily for several weeks.I am on the Do-Not-Call List, and don't owe anyone money that I'm aware of, and don't respond to calls that are from unknowns. The calls have been from different people...two different men, and a woman. I finally called back one day to see what it was about, and when I got a man, he asked for my phone number. I gave it, and he asked for my name. I said I do not give out my name to people I don't know, and asked who was calling. He got very nasty, and said "You call back when you are ready to give me your name!" I called FTC / Do Not Call Registry to report them, and was told that the only things I could do were: 1) talk to them and tell them to remove my number, because once they have been told, then the DNC Registry could do something, or 2) call my phone company to have them block that number. I will do Option 2 as I don't really want to deal with these people again.
They are truly a nuisance!

Ok, so I see 2 dozen or more posts about people like me who owe NO debts to anyone getting harrassed by this company...at some point does a good soul come forward and explain to us how we can make them STOP calling, or is this just a forum to complain?

It happens everyday. I get several calls a day for the last few months on the caller ID it says. Call 18773395275 but the number is 877-337-3099 even on the weekend, what do ya do. I just hang up im tired of it. I dont even listen for the reference # anymore.

So, how do we deal with this legally?  Do we sue them?  AND sue AT & T?  For allowing our so-called non-published number to be used as an instrument for harassment?  The FTC or FCC?  This is daily harassment, and all hours of the day and night?  WHAT DO WE DO?

I received a few calls from this number and it was a computer talking tell me that I have very impartant call for me hold for one moment.

I'm getting calls every morning at 8:35 am and now one on Saturday. I called back, office closed.  The automated call doesn't know that a call back can't go through.  

I have no debt, no cards, no loans so this is certainly not a collection agency for me.  It has been going on for a week now.

We get calls almost daily leaving this callback number with a reference number.  Pretty sure it is about a really old debt of our grandson (shares my name).  We have not returned the call, but I see that there is a company name listed above at the top of this bulletin board - might try calling the number listed there to try to get them to stop calling.  Thanks for giving that information.  I do not have caller id - but the callback number is 877-337-3099.

And file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. If enough people did this they will be fined and the fines are hefty - like $10,000 hefty.

So I wonder if these calls are a nefarious company phishing for numbers to sell to telemarketers once the Do Not Call list expires...

They should be charged for wasting people's valuable cell minutes, in my opinion.  I wish consumers could be reimbursed for this kind of waste of our valuable free time by fools seeking $$$.

I have received calls like this before from a number with a Toronto, CA area code, now my GF gets ones from here...

It is very annoying to be harrased by these people and I know that WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL AND IN VIOLATION OF THE PRIVACY ACT!.....WE SHOULD ALL FILE A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT FOR HARRASSMENT.
