I called this number to get help for a hacked yahoo account. They wanted me to let them control my laptop from india. Meaning hack my laptop so they could "help." I am just glad I have a brain. Why? because these people can and will take anything that is on your computer. all information on your computer will be given to them! DO NOT download anything they say! Even if they are truly trying to help, do not let them get into your computer. Once they have your information your life can be turned upside down! Be careful!

I keep getting calls from this 877-369-3667. It is a female computer voice saying "Hello" over and over again. I say it back at first, but it keeps repeating it. I just hang up.

it is some law office.  They demanded my social security number, I asked who they were...Law offices of....then she demanded my social again....I asked what is this about?.....she wouldn't say and then wanted my birthdate......I hung up.  If they won't tell me what it's about....they get nothing from me.

The same thing happened to me.  They call about 3 times a day, every day.  All it is is a female voice that says "Hello" after I answer the phone, then it goes silent.

This phone number calls me several times every day. At first when I answered, there was not one there (the "computer pause") so I hung up.  Now I don't bother to answer.  They never leave a message. This is very annoying. Is there any way I can stop them for calling me over and over?

So, I keep getting these calls from 877-369-3667. They call everyday, several times a day, and never leave a message. Well, I wish I knew which company this was because I would so turn in one of their reps and report it to the BBB. They forgot to hang up after calling me and left almost a 3 minute message. She sounded very unprofessional and unpolished. She also left me someone's social security number, name and account number. Here is a transcript.

O: “What’s the account number – oh, social?”

B: “**”

B: “1**9”
O: “1**9. Yeah, we can’t find it here.” “Jamie, said that person…well who?” “Natalie Cruz(sp)” “Oh, Adalee(sp) Cruz (sp).”
B: (unintelligible female voice)
O: “Ok, what’s the account number, Jamie?” “13453244.” “Okay, alright, uh-huh, bye.”
O: “Thank you for holding, this is….(laughing)” “Ok, ok, mmmhmmm, ok, ok, ok, ok, ok, and did they have a particular person at that number for….alright, thank you, uh-huh, bye-bye”

This number constantly calls my job line. I answered and after a few seconds a person came to the line identifying himself as Mr. Brown from Breibart Law. He wanted to verify the last 4 digits of my social and I refused. I then asked him what this was regarding and he said he couldn't give me any information until I first confirmed either the last 4 of my social. I refused by saying that I wasn't comfortable providing that information without knowing the nature of his call. He said he was unwilling to compromise the business by providing me any information and he needed to verify who I was. He then said he wanted to verify my birthdate and I told him that I refused to verify any of my identifying information over the phone. He got mad and said, "Have a nice day, ma'am." As I was hanging up it sounded as if he was trying to say something else, but I terminated the call before he got it all out.

I never heard of Breibart Law, if that was in fact what he was saying, he wasn't very clear and I asked him to say it several times then spell it and "B.r.e.i.b.a.r.t" is what I think gathered from him. When I did a google search on Breibart it looks as if they were involved in a major fraud case that left the company tanked and several lawyers without jobs. Not sure if this is the same place.

they call here several times a day and hang up but today it spoke first a woman's voice and then a man asking to confirm last 4 digits of SS said he could not break the law by discussing they legal matter if I did not confirm my SS#

Robo calls from Law offices of Richard J. Breibart (collecting for a debt).
- This lawyer is a shady bottom-feeder who buys up debt that has already been written off as a loss.
- He preys on the poor and people who can barely afford to pay their bills and buy food.  
- Don't answer his calls and don't pay him!  

If that wasn't bad enough, this greedy corrupt "lawyer" has extorted $1 Million dollars from his clients!

I received a call from this number and answered "Hello".  At first there was a recorded "Hello".  Then I repeated and waited a few seconds.  A female came on the line and asked for me by full name.  I asked her who was calling and she said "THE LAW OFFICE OF RICHARD BREVART(sp?)  I then said she had the person for whom she had asked and she hung up.  I waited but no call has returned.  

Ahhh I just went and did a Google search typing just as I did in this post and before I could finish the spelling of his name a whole slew of results appeared.  First one was Controversy topples once-proud Breibart law firm
It says there are out of SC.

I got a phone call and the man demanded my name & date of birth before he would release the company name he was calling from. Any lawyers office should provide their own name - that is not discussing any legalities, only their name. He hung up on me. I called back and spoke to Letrice & she said she had to end the phone call when I requested to exercise my right to request my phone contact info not be used to contact me during business hours and to contact me by written correspondence. I called back and got alot of air then a man that provided me the PO Box address after placing me on hold. I pointed out that I needed a physical address for a person to sign for received written correspondence, and he replied the PO Box would be fine. I challenged him - What kind of lawyers office doesn't have a physical address? And when I googled the PO Box he provided, I got more info & he confirmed to google his name Richard Marshall Breibart I got the physical address. The rep provided me the same address without knowing what I saw on my end. I'm contacting an attorney to send a certified cease and desist letter.

Well i get calls fom this number repeatedly. They never leave messages, and you can"t understand them when you call back. I find out from further investigation that this is a dirty bottom feeder trying scam money out of the little guy. Just ignore the calls, I have had my attorney contact them and they still call me (AT WORK!!!!). My attorney says they are not worth the trouble to try and prosecute and probably wouldn't pay up anyway.

I keep getting calls from this number and letters from this PO Box as well. Whenever I answer they do not say anything but hello is this ____. I never tell them anything until I know what the call is about but then I ask what is it in regards to and they don't give me an answer. I terminate the call and they call at least 6 times a week and I'm about to call the police and file harassment charges against them because this is ridiculous. I read over the responses here and I'm upset that there are more people going through what I am. I don't owe anyone money and I sure as hell won't be giving my personal information out to anyone who thinks they're entitled to my hard earned money.

Calls, I never answer. Reported to FTC do-not-call number. I will drive a truck up his cornhole.

This number calls me daily. Never leaves a message. Who are they? What do they want? From what I see above it looks like a law firm scam?? I dont think I received any mail from them. But I could have been mistaken.

I get a voice mail they are from morris cobb attorney at law a debt collector.  Haven't tried to call back

I have had the same situation...harassing phone calls for nearly 3 weeks from the agency described in the posts above,  different attorney names...I was told Maury Cobby. and in a previous call Hobbs, even spoke to the same Latrice, telling her that I do not owe any credit card bills, and that I do not want any more calls from their office....yet, I got more phone calls after that.
here's my story...I received a call Feb 3, 2014. The person wanted me to identify myself, but refused to identify their company name, or the reason they were calling, even though they used my correct name. I did * 69 to find out who they were, it is still unclear, however I suspected they were a debt collection, because telemarketers do not usually have your name. I spoke to the person that answered, saying that I had just received a call from their offices, and that their person had hung up on me when I asked for identification. I asked that they send a letter regarding the reason for their call so that I could dispute it....again, making the assumption it must be a mix up. They have now called me everyday, sometimes multiple times for nearly 3 weeks. I called yet again, 2 days ago, Feb. 19, 2014...after doing * 69...I asked to speak to a supervisor....The answerer stated that she was a supervisor and that her name is  Latrice...Again, stating that they had never sent a letter within the 5 days of the initial call...and that I considered the repeated calls harassing....I demanded that they do not call me again...and told them I was going to contact FDCPA. I also asked for and received their mailing address...That is what has brought me to your site. I researched regarding this phone number from which I have been receiving the calls..877-369-3667, I was unable to locate a lawyer by the name Latrice gave me, or an agency name...The name she gave me was Maury Cobby, Attorney at law, the address she gave was 600 Beacon Parkway West, suite 300, Birmingham, AL  
Before concluding the call  I restated that they should not call me again....She repeated that to me..."You don't want us to call you again"...Th same day, and the 2 days since I have again received hang-up calls from that phone number. I wanted to complain....but, i am really not clear as to what they persist in calling me about....even on the phone "Latrice" did not say...I told her that if you are a collection agency, then I am denying any debt, as i do not have any outstanding credit. Along with researching, i was able to find at least two separate websites that list this same number...with multiple complaints of repeated hang up, harassing phone calls from the same number...but multiple attorney names were given by this company...
I did the research and found multiple complaints against them, using their phone number on spokeo as well here. Further research showed me how to report them: help.consumerfinance.gov/tellyourstory  Hopefully there is an agency that can put a top to the harassing calls. Thankful for pages like this so that w can voice our complaints and experiences with companies like this.
