Calls me faithfully a.m. & p.m. BUT NO ONE IS THERE!! And doesn't leave any v.mail. But calls every day.  Huh??

When I called back I was told this was the law offices of Maury Cobb.  Asked me what my name was three tmes before she told me what the name of the office was.  It was a collection call that I had already taken care of.

Scumbags say, what!  Just block them.  I heard the DOJ has a line on them. They are working out of Russia. All dope addicts....

So apparently the calls from this number have to do with tmobile!!!! They claim i owe for two phones that I didn't turn back in after canceling my account with them!  I did turn the phones in! I spoke with the tmobile rep but they said they will research. The next thingi know the account was sold to a collection company and apparently to the law office of maury cobb! I don't owe this and they won't get a cent from me!

One thing a person should always do when returning equipment is to send it return receipt mail or at least have a tracking number to show when it was delivered.  Even if you take them in personally, always get a receipt!  You can file complaints, with the BBB, but they are toothless. Best bet is to file a complaint with the CFPB, FTC, your state attorney general. However, you also want to send a cease & desist letter to this company and also a dispute letter. Follow the steps in what you need to know.

This is a debt collection company.  Won't identify who they are looking for.  I have left 9 messages on their automated system asking not to be contacted with the auto-dialer and for them to cease & desist.  They continue calling.  I have also sent a certified letter that was received.  They are representing themselves as attorney's which is also against FDCPA rules.  I have filed a complaint with the FTC & the Consumer Protection Agency and advise all others to do the same as well.  They previous post has the website link that you can use.  Good luck & let us know what happens.

Ive goten a few calls from 877.369.3667 and only get left messages. Don't know why they are calling because they just leave a message it is not even directed to me personally. They could possible have the wrong number. They seem to be a fairly recent collection firm, here's the info.

I keep getting calls from 877-369-3667 from Attorney Maury Cobb debt collector. I see the same name in other blogs. Wouldn't a legitimate lawyer send a letter? I'm not responding to this clown.

I don't know why they are calling my number or who they are, ...

They call me non stop throughout the day, sometimes 3 times in the last 10 minutes! Its outrageous! I refuse to answer the unknown caller because I'm afraid it will go downhill if I do but I just want it to stop!

We received a letter today from a MAURY COBB Attorney at Law LLC regarding a debt that we owe to Tmobile..  As far as my memory serves we already payed the outstanding debt from another Collective agency that was legit.. If I do have any unpaid debts I'll gladly pay to Tmobile.. But From reading all of your comments I'm definitely not going to pay anything to this scam collective agency..

AFAIK, I don't owe anyone any money.  Figured it was spam.  After reading the posts here, it most certainly is.

No message left but caller ID read: Breibart Law Firm.

Frequent messages left on my machine, saying it is about debt collection.  I have no debt so I knew it is a scam, never answer but the calls continue, which is mildly harassing.  I'm only pursuing this because they might be more than just MILDY harassing some other people.  When I (finally) called back the number on my machine (not the number they left in the message) it went to voice mail for attorney Maurie Cobb.  Consistent with other messages on this board.

I receive about 3 calls a day from1-877-369-3667, its an automated message stating they calling on behalf of Morrie Cobb Attorney at law.  They never leave any other information as to whom they are looking or what it is regarding, so I delete them.  After reading the above it looks like a scam.

They are now using a local number 510-962-8226 and saying from Maury Cobb

Thank you for giving me this information; I just received a phone call from a lady named Shekinah saying she is from the law offices of attorney Maury Cobb; she asked for my son and she refused to answer what her call was about and did not want to give me a file number or an account number so that he could call them back. After reading your experience with them, I called her back and asked her to put her request in writing and send my son a letter, which would be the appropriate way to contact a creditor if in fact my son is a creditor and they are legitimate. Thank you.

Thank you for your research and  your information on these collectors; they are calling my home and I din't even know why because they give no information besides the name atty. Maury Cobb; I suppose it's their way of intimidation. Now that I know who they are and where they come from, I will not be intimidated by them and I will certainly not trust them with any payments.
