We've been getting calls at our home phone from this number telling me to call back by the end of the day.  I know these calls are for my brother because we are also getting calls from another collection agency asking for my brother  - who doesn't llive with us.  In fact, we live thousands of miles apart.  I've told him we are getting calls and he gave a few names of collection agencies, including TCI or CCI (I can't remember).  

Since I live in this house under my married name (since we bought it), I'm confused as to why they would be calling our number.  My brother doesn't seem like he would be the type of person who would give my number for anything but I don't want to ask.  

I've had enough of the daily calls and, since I have informed my brother of the calls and the callback numbers, I'll now be giving his number to them.

Got a call from this number, told to call back today with a reference number. Here is the funny thing, filed bankruptcy got the discharged paperwork in the mail, so wtf. Not a chance I owe u anything as it was discharged!

Just got my second call on my unlisted cell this morning.  

No messages this time... but I also reported this number to my attorney
whom we filed for bankruptcy also.  come to think of it.... i got a letter
in the mail saying we "forgot" to add them to my lawers list.   Not a chance.
i zipped the letter off to my lawyer also.  No such account !!   cant wait till they
catch up with these bozo's !!

We received several calls from this company over the past few months, leaving no message on our answering machine.  Finally, some extremely rude woman yelling louding stated "Call me back immediately at 877-395-3541" and very demanding.  Knowing this was a Credit Collection Agency from reading the other posts, and also knowing that we have absolutely no credit problem, as we owe nothing, nothing at all, but thought perhaps we can get them to quit calling or at least find out who they are looking for.  We did not want our own telephone number recorded on "their" voice mail, as in reading your other posts, they use voice mail to see who is calling, so we went to a pay phone and dialed the number.  A "very nice" man answered, and I asked him the name of his business, and he told me the name of the Credit Collection Agency, and told me the number I was calling from (pay phone).  I told him that they must have the wrong home telephone number, and asked him if I gave him mine, could he please tell me "who" they are looking for and maybe I can help him.  He brought it up on his computer system and told me a name of someone I have never heard of.  I told him that I have had my telephone number for almost thirty years (which I have) and that there "never" has been anyone in my home by that name, and because I have to get up from a Cancer bed and run down the hall to answer the telephone (family uses another phone for me) it is very upsetting, and could they please stop calling.  He was "very nice" and stated that he would immediately remove my number.  Now, whether he did or not, or whether some idiot will continue to eventually call, I don't know, but at least my experience at this point was a positive one from a nice man.  I wanted to post this, in case anyone needs to get them off their back if you have no reason for them to call (debt collection, etc.) and "maybe" you can get them to stop.

Mr. Bacon left a message to call back 877-395-3541 immediately with reference #xxxx, regarding a serious matter.  Closed the message with "Good luck."

I called back, and when Mr. Bacon and I spoke, he referred to a debt that is not mine.  I asked Mr. Bacon to write to me with his information, and he gave me a very negative assumption about me and my finiancial responsibilities, and threats that he was passing a judgement today unless I paid, and I would be responsible for all legal fees.  I asked Mr. Bacon for his address, and he aked me why, I replied so that I may correspond with him why I was not responsible for the debt he was referring to, he asked me to fax it to 813 341 2545, and refused to give me his office address.  Not very professional employees at that firm.

"Rich Porter" called from this number to collect on a debt that was discharged in my bankruptcy. He sounded like a tough guy until I told him that I had a bankruptcy well over a year ago. Then says "What attorney, hun?"  Went from being very rude to very unprofessional. I gave him the attorney number and he told me to have a good day.

they never leave a message on mine. I don't answer letting it go to voice and then no message. I also don't answer unknown caller or withheld letting them go to voice

Received a call and voice message from this number on Friday.  The callers name was Lindsay.  The voice message said her call was concerning my former brother-in-law (I haven't been married to his brother for 22 years) and that it was mandatory that I call them that same day.  Well, was out of town so now I'm curious just why they think I have any information for them.  I did call this number several times this morning but after one ring it went toa fast busy.  I guess this will remain a mystery unless they call me back... which I imagine they will considering some of the posts here.

I believe they are simply trying to find anyone who has information on the person they are pursuing.  I am not wasting any more time here but thought this might be helpful to others who are getting calls about other people.

I have recieved several calls from this number and other like numbers. They say they are either a law firm with information against me, and then list off a bunch of my personal info like full name, social #, etc... They do not leave a compant name, only a number to call back. I have been told, that this is a scam. I have had real debt collectors call in the past, and they are nothing like this. They will also follow up with any correspondence in writing, yet this number/company has never done so!

Same thing here.  I don't answer anymore.  They say that I owe on a credit card.  Funny thing is that it was settled over a year and a half ago.  I told them to proove to me that the debt was legit.  They wanted me to sent them the paperwork to show that it was settled.  They wanted me to settle it to avoid court costs.  I told them to take me to court and then I could show them my paperwork and the case would be dismissed and would end up costing them $$.

He called me once, I didn't answer. I put this number on a block list, so hecalled 5 times after that. Thank he finally figured, that I am not going to answer, and called from the other number. Early morning harrasment. Illegal.

This number has called numerous times but has never left a message before.  Today, however, an Angie called using my first name, saying she was trying to reach my dau-in-law (using her first name also) and to have her call this Angie!  Who has time for this annoyance!???

877-395-3541 called me looking FOR MY X-WIFE.  Haven't heard from her in 15 yrs, and could care less what debts she owes.  I'm sure it's a collection agency, knowing her.  At least the male caller was polite and says it is not a contest or solicitation.  Others are correct, I think they are required to name an Agency, aren't they?

They keep calling stating I owe on a Visa from 2005.  We have only had a Master Card since August 2005 and before that we did not have a credit card.

Just rec'd a message this morning to call back-leave the number but did not say who is this woman is repesenting.
