- NancyThey call me every day atleast 3 times a day. They will not leave a message on my machine so I looked up the number. I believe the same company is calling using different phone numbers to throw me off guard. I am working with Freedom Debt Relief and they know that but still they call. N
- hanai hope all these [***] .. die a horrible horrible horrible and super long painful death ..
some [***] [***] .. who didn't give me his name .. called me from this number saying i owed something upwards of over 1000 to a company i never even [***] heard of .. when i asked him what he was calling about he basically just yelled at me saying i'm responsible for this all this money and i better pay it or else .. WTF !! ....
so .. i called back this number .. and the customer service rep there .. basically told me my phone number is not in their system and the guy probably dailed the wrong number .. regardless of that .. the [***] behind that call should be fired .. he defiantly crossed the line between harassment and our right threats .. completely ridiculous
what pisses me off even more is .. how the hell did he get my name and number .. if he in fact had dialed the wrong number he wouldn't know my name .. this company is 100% fishy .. and i'm reporting them to the BBB !!- Caller: credit control

- Goofy| 1 replyDebt Collection companies like this specialize in skip tracing. They go back through the records of the debt, calling any number that was given by the person at time of application. Any debt they collect on they get a bonus. Nasty, scum of the earth people? Yes. That's why they get hired to do the job. They use intimidation to try to collect (illegal by the way). I use the block option on my phone provider, as the person they are looking for isn't at my number.

- Caller BewareA person who identified himself as Christopher Harless called from this number and harassed my 90 year old mother (who has a heart condition) over a debt that had belonged to me prior to my BK. These guys are ruthless and predatory...I told my mom not even to engage in a conversation with them!! He said that he was from Citibank but I'm sure that was a lie. My mom doesn't have caller ID, unfortunately. I told her to tell them that she does no financial business over the phone and to inform them that she is taking note of each time she gets a harassment call from them so that her attorney can take action. That is no idle threat...it is exactly what we will do! If you get a call from them...beware!

- Betty BoopHad a lady call me this time on my cell phone, don't know how they got my cell phone number since it isn't in my names.I guess they are changing their tactics, because usually a man that calls.
- MorganJust received a call from this number...no voicemail left and since it's not a number I'm familiar with and all my bills are paid (not past due), I don't pick up. No voicemail = no call back. From reading the prior posts, sounds like I don't want to answer my phone anyways...
- MoGot a call about a week ago from this number...no voicemail....got another call today...once again no voicemail. No voicemail = no return call.
- Wendy HPlease keep in mind that there is a statute of limitations on debt. Each state laws are different. Look up your laws and know your rights. Do not acknowledge anything if you speak to them. Do not send any kind of payment until you know your rights. You could possibly make this go away and have saction brought on them. Be informed.
- TaraThey left a message telling me to call him back by 5:00p.m. Didn't say what company he was from. He kind of had an accent. Also gave an account number. Other times they never leave a message. He sounds scary on my voicemail!!!!!
- AnnoyedKeep getting a call from this number. They don't leave a message when I don't answer. When I do, and ask who it is, they say it's a personal business matter (for someone who doesn't own the number they called). They will not give up and keep calling. A google search shows me it's a debt collector. How do I make them stop calling? They are rude and wasting my time.

- GingerIt's a collection agency. If they continue to call file a report with your states Attorney General. That'll put a fast stop to it, be it a valid debt or not. They CAN send you letters concerning your debt but they CANNOT legally harrass you on the phone. I should know, I've been through it.
And to the person or persons who posts on these boards urging that you speak with these callers.... you are so obvious, by your improper english as well as your recommendations, a collection agency worker. Do you really think you fool anyone? You are laughable and pathetic. Have a nice day.- Caller: Credit Control LLC

- MorganLeft a recorded VM on my phone. Called my phone looking for someone else...gave the number 866-383-8690 to remove my number. Glad they left a message this time unlike back in October when they last called and didn't even bother.

- Big AGot a robo call from this outfit. Said it was a personal call, beeped 3 times, then said it shouldn't be listened to with other people present beeped three times more, then said it was from "CCI, LLc. a Debt Collector" and to call them back. Another illegal collection call in my book, since they have no idea if they have the right phone number, an simply telling someone not to listen is like telling your kid not to look at the train wreck.

- Big A| 1 replyThey sent me a letter stating I owed money on a credit card I never heard of and in an amount that I've never had on any debt I ever owed. I sent them a letter stating that I disputed the amount, They received the letter on May 24th, Called me today at 9:30 am but didn't leave a message. They are supposed to stop all collection activity until the debt is verified. Guess they don't care about the FDCPA.
