What is your excuse when you keep calling a wrong # and don't remove the # from your data base. If you are a good bill collector, you would call directory assistance and do a reverse look up to see if you have the correct # or not. You are not going to collect a dime if you are talking to the wrong person. Also, you must work for a scum if he or she is buying paper that is 10 years or older. Apparantly, your company can't collect dust if you can't get any clients to place accounts in your office that are in statute. It's called doing poorly in the batch tracks and that's why you are forced to try and collect on 10 or more year old debt. Do your self a favor and find a reputable agency to work for [***]!

I was called by this person at 877-404-4490 and he said it was very important that he talk to me about this person he was trying to find. I divorced this "person" if you can call him that, 18 YEARS AGO for physical abuse leading to hospital stays, cheating on me more than 5 times, and then when I finally left him and divorced him, I find out that he was using my credit card, leaving me in debt for 10 YEARS. Which I paid thank you very much! And now, I get to hear more about him and be HARRASSED by this idiot again. Absolutely cheap tactics to contact someone who has saved themselves from being killed by this predator and thought I was in a safe place. Really commendable business practices! I will file this with the better business bureau.

Got a call from R J Boudreau & Assoc.. about a bill I haven't paid in few years.. so I paid it and they stopped calling.. they even reduced the balance.. I paid less than what I owed upon charge off.. for you people complaining about the calls.. if you owe it .. pay it.. it's that simple.. for Christ's sake.

I love it when one of these bottom feeding scumbags pretends to be a debtor. It's cute.

I got a call at 7:55am, I told them they had the wrong number. Well, that pissed them off and they called me a LIAR and slammed the phone down. What a class act.

This is no Law Firm. This is nothing more than a collection agency, using (paying for the use of) the name of a Law Firm to intimidate people who have fallen on hard times.

Make them do their job correctly, if your abused report them to your state and their states Atoorney General as well as file complaints with FTC and BBB

How do you thonk people can pay their bills when they are facing today's ccrooked society with all the bailouts.  I barely got my current position when I fell and broke my ankle.  I didn't have the company insurance at the time so I acquired over $15,000 in debt for three days in a hospital.  I went back to work a month later and within a week the hospital was harrassing me at work.  People that collect debts do not put themselves in other peoples shoes and have a tendency to believe that all debtors are stupid.

A man called me.  He mumbled so badly I could understand who he was or what company he was with.  Also, he did not bother to let me know why he was calling.  I looked up the phone number on Google and I found lots of entries about the number on my caller ID and the number he gave.  The issue I have with him calling me is that I have an unlisted number and have told the telephone company not to give out my number, because I have been harrassed by debt collectors before.

Have been receiving phone calls from 1-877-404-4490 which we don't answer.  The caller leaves a message saying to call back at 1-866-890-1644 to the Law Offices of Richard Petrone & Associates.  We tend to let the answering machine pick up phone calls from numbers we don't recognize mainly because of "people" like these.  We have no outstanding debt, pay all of our bills "in full" every month so there would be no reason for a "Law Office" calling us for old debt.

I also received a call from this number.  No message, so after I searched and found this I decided to call back.

The woman was actually rather pleasant - she said Maria Fernandez gave her this number as her own - and of course I do not know any Maria Fernandez, and she said she would take my number off.  We'll see if they call again.

Well, I am getting calls from them and I am not past due on anything!!!

I am a widow of 12 years and I keep getting calls trying to get information from me.  I give them nothing, but get three to four calls a week.  The information they seek is not even about me. How can I stop the harrassing.  I owe nothing to anyone.

I just received a phone call from 877-404-4490 and they said they were Patrone and Patrone a Law firm.
The man was asking me information and said I owed a ridiculous amount of money to a certain credit card. I asked him to send me a copy of the bill. I told him even if I charged things that I would never let the bill get to what he said.  He started raising his voice at me. I said I am claiming bankrupcy and he said couldn't. I said I can and you can't tell me I can't, then he asked me for my laywers name. I just hung up on him and he did not call me back.

Ask for husband by full name asked me to hold for the person calling, hung up the phone googled number found this. Thank you!

Received a call stating we owed money due to bankruptcy problem, I stated it was still in progress, he insisted I was wrong! I told him to contact my lawyer,and not to call back. The man was very rude and liked to argue. I just kept repeating he was wrong.  Thank you for this information on this number. It was very helpful to know this wasn"t legit.

So you are saying that these people have every right to collect a debt, that is true and fine BUT I am not the person they are trying to find. They called and were VERY rude to me on the phone, harassing me several times when I am not even the one they are looking for. So are you are saying it is my fault (or really my mom's fault) for me having a common name? I told them several times that it wasn't me and they keep calling. HMMMMMMMM..... I personally think I have EVERY right to be pissed at these sort of business practices.

I have gotten soooo many calls from this number. I just called and asked for them to remove me from their calling list. The guy I spoke to was so nasty. He asked my name, then he asked why I want to be removed that he was looking for a debby anne. I told him I don't know who that is and I want my number removed. Very NASTY people.

your an [***] - maybe some of us have lost our jobs and can't afford to the bills!  You have some nerve judging people you don't know! and by the way it is NOT I repeat NOT legal for a third party to try and obtain information about a debtor by calling friends relative etc... read your laws regarding this you might learn something.  Take it from someone that is deliquent and has lost everything because big businesses have failed - gee maybe your an attorney for them - I think that would explain everything.

Keep calling me for somebody else who used to have this number! I got this number 3 weeks ago and they call me 3-4 times a week. I tell them and each time they say they will remove the number. They won't let me speak to anybody they just hang up and when I call the number the person who answers ask for the number and says that number doesn't come up they must have taken it out. Well if they took it out why am I still getting calls!!! I ask to speak to somebody higher up they hang up!

I received a call from this number today on my cell phone. I tried to call back and the “call could not be completed as dialed”. So I googled it and wound up here. I can’t think of a reason why they would call me. But if they call again I’ll try to sell them some life insurance - and insist that they are returning MY CALL. If they don't need life insurance, I can get them a deal on Slap Chops, Rolex knock-offs,Sham-Wows, or Nigerian repo services.
