- CGM replies to JMD| 3 repliesGot a call from Samantha 08/2016
Telling me I'm accepted as 2016 worldwide leader in healthcare award. That they're printing certificate and are already incurring costs. How my bio will be listed in some publication. Then quoting prices for membership. I told her I could not pay that. She then urged asking if inrralize I'm getting this and that. I said well send me smth to read. She said it was already sent. I said well I didn't get it. Either way, she said the next mail would be a welcome package. Lol!
She asked if I was using visa or MasterCard today.... THE NERVE...
I said I wasn't going to pay her. That she should stop trying to pressure me into a payment I know nothing of the organization, and she won't send me anything or allow me to do my research... And to forget the whole award. Then she said she'll just list me in the free listing. I said whatever and hung up.
What I should have told her was 4967- [***]-off! - CGM replies to CGMI got called from this #:

Islip, NY - RhondaI got "the call" today with the same promises of recognition and having my name and accomplishments listed in the Who's Who publication. I made the mistake of giving my address but got suspicious when she started asking for money and wouldn't take no for an answer. I eventually hung up on her.
- Caller: Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare
- Montreal NurseGot a call and I remembered filling in the membership application with the Internal Nurses Association. Spoke to Allison O'Brien who congratulated me in being accepted into the World Wide Leaders in Healthcare Association. Very nice, asked me loads of questions. Unfortunately, I was busy at work so didn't pay as much attention as I should have. As soon as I got off the phone, my gut wrenched and I called my Credit Card company immediately and cancelled my card. Thank goodness the payment had not gone through. And, as I was writing this note, they called me back because they couldn't pass through the payment. I told them I was reading all about them them on the internet and I knew they were scam artists, that I had reported them and then I hung up. Beware SCAM!!!!
- Caller: International Nurses Association
- SandiI also received this call, was sort of skeptical, why would they want to profile me? But also flattered and thought, sure, ok. THEN the money requests started. Stated I had to give her a credit card right now as they were under a publishing deadline. No legit publication would do that. I hung up on her.

- jom| 2 repliesI used to work for this organization over a year ago. They train you like dogs to pitch the sale. When I started to realize something was wrong and started asking questions, the had an answer for everything! My senses said this was bull so I left. They pray on people to work there and need money desperately!, most don't realize this is a scam and continue because they need the money. Workers are good people and most who finally realize what is going on and then leave. Please do not give them one cent of your money, do not even answer the calls! If you do, hang us when you realize who they are! There is no benefit you at all! Just putting the word out there and hope people take my advise! Best of luck to all of the hard working medical professionals who deserve real honore, not from this fake organization!

- Sally Seashells| 1 replyI received those phone calls for about a month and asking for me to call them back with my credentials. I finally did and after giving this woman Amy Hanson all my info about where I live, where I work, my address, my email, she then at the very end asked which membership I wanted to join; Platinum or Diamond. After telling her I didn't know it was a fee and couldnt pay it she offered to sponsor me and just bill me for the monthly membership. She was very polite and sounded professional but very persistent. I thought something wasn't right when she told me about all the fees and kept constantly bringing the price down to get me to join. I must've said 10x that I didn't think I could do this right now before we eventually got off the line. I really hope they are not able to do anything with all my other information; has anyone else not given their bank info but gave all other info and was somehow charged for something? I'm so glad I read this thread too and now know it was 100% a scam. The women's names were Maureen and Amy Hanson. They called from a West Islip number. These are the numbers they called me from: 631-873-4584 & 877-447-8360

- Ben, RN replies to NurseJust got a call from Tricia Hayes at this number. Same deal as above. Wanted me to sign up for gold or platinum status to have my name featured in the world wide leaders in healthcare book - whatever that is. I had just sent an application to join my local RN union in my state so I listened a lot longer than I should have thinking it was somehow connected. So glad, I didn't give up a credit card number. What a scam!
- kelly replies to Robinson, DNP, FNPThanks for the heads up..I too keep getting calls from this organization. I am just letting them leave a msg..oh I spoke to someone told them I would think about it and now she is calling again..thinking I will play along for a bit. Just hope this gets even just a bit for everyone. Then when I do speak to them and they want personal info...either I will laugh at them or say something that isn't most likely proper to repeat here.
- Suzy replies to Sally SeashellsThe same women called me too!!! I told them they were a total scam and they should be ashamed of what they were doing. Nurses don't deserve to be taken advantage of like this! Made me furious!!! I reported them to the BBB. If more people report them, hopefully they will get shut down!!
- SJThey are a scam. I told them I need to read the information first before I decide what I want. She was very pushy stating that I need to pick one of the diamond, platinum, gold prior to them sending information. I told here well I guess you won't be getting my money or credit card info unless I get information. All that bull about being published and being nominated is crazy. They look on line and see who they think there can scam well sorry I'm not the one. Please if something sounds too good to be true it usually is. Don't give them your hard earned dollars.
- Caller: INC
- LP replies to KellyI just a called from a "Connie Austin" with the exact same results!!! Same exact story... It must be the same woman. She was extremely persistent and wouldn't take no for an answer. She lowered the price in the exact same dollar amounts as listed above. Fortunately my father raised me well enough to know to never give out any financial information over the phone. When I told her for the fifth time, "No, please send it to me in writing". Same story. She got upset and I said, "well thanks for interrupting my dinner with my family, I just can't help you" and hung up. I feel like any legit organization would have let me take a few days to consider the commitment. Thank you for posting this. My heart goes out to all the hard working nurses out there who are getting duped by these [***]. They need to be stopped.
- HeatherGot this letter when I came home from work. Knew something was fishy! Thanks everyone not wasting my time or money.
