This number calls several times and when I answer and ask their company name they hang up.  The same woman calls from several different numbers and wants to ask questions but if you question her she hangs up.  Calls several times a day.  I answered and blew a whistle in the phone.  They stopped for several months now I just pick up and blow the whistle.  Never leaves a message if you don't answer.

I have received a total of 5 calls from this number today (so far). The first one was at 8:15 am CDT, and the last one was at 2:33 PM CDT (about half an hour ago). Except for two calls that came at 10:25 and 10:27 am, the calls have been almost exactly 2 hours apart. According to this pattern, I'm due for another call in about 1 hour and 15 minutes!

The first couple of times I left my answering machine pick up and they did not leave a message. By the 3rd or 4th time I was getting tired of the interruptions, so I decided to answer. I have answered the last three times, but no one ever responds. It's getting EXTREMELY annoying.

This number belongs to Allied Interstate, a collection agency for GE Money bank. They call me several times a day, even on Sundays, never leaving a message. They call as early as 8:15 a.m. and their last call was at 8:58 pm. They will always make their last call a fewminutes before 9:00 to avoid an FDCPA violation.

This number calls my house starting at 8am until 9pm at night everyday. They call at least 20 times a day, if not more. When they call, they let the phone ring 3 times, hang up and then call right back again. So I called the number back and it is indeed Allied Interstate. After they said who they were I hung up on them. Don't know who they are calling for, and frankly don't care. I have contacted my phone company to ask for detailed billing for the land line, and hopefully they can help me. If not, I will log all their calls for the next several months and then report them for harassment.

I block this number by assigning it a silent ringtone. If it's important, they can leave a message. If not,  I'm not dealing with them.

These people call me 10 times a day, at least, never leave a message, at all times during the day and at night, on both my home and cell numbers.  I'd like them to leave me alone and stop calling.

They call me ALL day long and when I answer - they hang up.  I called the number back and it is Allied Interstate trying to collect on a debt that is CURRENT and still with the original creditor!!! I had just made a payment to the original creditor and they were saying they were collecting on their behalf. I called the original creditor and they said they had no reason to put my account in collections, it was current and I was able to use the card right now if I wanted.  Click on this link (posted previously) and you'll see all the unscrupulous tactics they've been using and how the FCC has fined them a RECORD amount.  They're ridiculous and when I called them, I let them know.

Whenever a debt collector calls you to collect, make sure you have them verify the debt and that they are able to collect on it.  A lot of people here are saying they don't owe the debts, which was Allied Interstate's MO - to try to collect from the wrong person, but there are MANY unscrupulous debt collectors out there trying to collect on debts that you owe, but for which they are not authorized to collect.  Make them verify it.  They have to verify it within 30 days and if they don't - or can't, then any negative reporting on your credit report must be removed and they must cease and desist collection efforts.  Further, if a debt is time-barred in your state (check your state's statute of limitation) then they also much remove the entry on your credit report as it is uncollectable and if they sue you - MAKE SURE YOU ANSWER AND DO NOT IGNORE IT!!! You answer with the defense that the debt is time-barred in your state and you will get it dismissed. What you NEVER do, is make a payment on a time-barred debt.  That is what they want you to do because you will reset the statute of limitations by doing so.  Know your rights, that's the bottom line.  And don't get intimidated by these debt collectors.  There are several law firms out there that specialize in suing them for violations of the FCRA.  I sued a creditor who was calling neighbors while I was in law school for a debt that I didn't owe.  I made an easy $1000 for reporting them and suing them, and winning.  Don't let them violate your rights.

No, that's the right number.  Which I think is how we all got here - typing in that very number.  That's the number that calls me.  And it's Allied Interstate.

Just got a pre-paid cell phone to be used for emergencies at a non-profit agency and the number has been active for all of a couple of hours and this number has already called our new phone.  I called the number back and it is Allied Interstate looking for someone who had apparently had this number in the past.  I advised the representative (who was very difficult to understand) that we have only had this number for a couple of hours and that the person that they are trying to reach is unknown to our agency.  I was told that they are removing the number from their system and that the calls should stop within 24-48 hours.

I have also had calls from this number, my attorney has litigation pending against Sprint and Sprint has been informed not to contact me. I spoke with LaVon @ 7:00 AM PST confirming closure of my Sprint account and got the run around on April 10th 2012 again I called on Wed. April 18th 2912 and spoke with Irus @ 7:30 AM to again confirm the cancelation of my account on 4/10/2012 which was started on on April 10th 2012 when they gave me a closing stamen on the phone of $340.00 USD when I spoke to a supervisor and she not only  gave me a closing amount at that time I told her that is confirmed and I still have that number. Then I got a call out to PP Depatment and spoke to Gerodo and Rhea about getting my phone number moved to T-Moble and was told to get Account Number, Code # and Sir# to move the phone number which I did but but now my Magic Jack still works on that number 818-627-8060 to call out but I get no calls in and my Magic Jack number is still up to date and only works for out going calls.  and this call was made on 04/19/2012. I called my Attorney Mr. Danilo Becerra at 1 323 725-0917 who has taken the Bull-E by the horns and told me they have been contacted (Sprint) and they are not to contact me by any means personally. He knows about the closing cost of $340.00 and knows more about the situation than he is tell me but he says do not listen to these people. His email address is djbecerra@mbc4law.com and can be found at 3500 West Beverly Blvd in Montebello, California I am still getting bills from Sprint but the litagation will likely go into a civil Suite and he is doing this at no upfront cost to me. See the situation is like being captive to a phone company because Sprint won't let me pay my promised closure of $340.00 USD and only wants me to catch up with past payments after discussing this with Supervisors and in the process they are destroying my credit. I will not be embezzled buy a cell phone companay or have them completely destroy my credit by lying to me and then forcing me to hold to a debunked account. I have been advised by Mr Danilo Becerra that they is something very wrong at Sprint and needs to be adjusted by litigation that has been started. My advise is to call this very proficient and professional attorney and discuss this problem with him.   The calls come from 800 806 3342 but in 10min. the number changes to Private.

ATTENTION: This is the best thing I ever did...get a Google Voice number, it is free. Then give that number to ALL your creditors...when they call you, let it ring...this will allow you to receive voice messages from them. If they refuse to leave a voice mail, you have the choice to block the number via the website...problem solved!!!!

These phone calls just started out of no where and I have answered several calls in an attempt to find out who they are and what the %$@(&! they want. I get the same as everyone else is posting...Allied Interstate. Also the same: they will not give any information on what they want and have hung up on me once they realize they are not going to get what they asked for. Are there no laws that can affect companies that hire these people outside of our country to be rude to people IN our country?
