They called me from a hoboken NJ number and left a message saying to call them back at this number. They use different names every time. The last one used "Officer Torres" . I thought impersonating an officer was illegal? How is this company still in business and not in jail?

Just called them back, they said they were Allied Interstate and they asked for my number so I gave it to them.  they hung up on me right after that.  Unbelievable.  Have had over 10 calls a day for a week or so.

This person called and asked me my name. Then hung up on me.  So I called the number back, the same guy answered the phone but with a different name.  Then I called it back again, same guy different name.  Stating they were Allied Something Something LLC.  I then told them I was recording the call and he hung up.  I proceeded to call this number back and each time it was the same person but with a different name.  Finally I think after the 12 time or so he offered to take my name off the calling list.  I have reported it to my phone company.  What an idiot.  So now I am going to call it back a few more times and maybe they will think again before calling me.

They call several times a day and there is never anyone there. How do we stop these calls? We are on the do not call list but it does not seem to work. by the way, the number that shows up on caller ID starts with 11.

I have been receiving these calls for a couple of months now on my cell phone.  They never leave a message.  I added them to my phone book and put the ringtone as silent.  So they can call all they want, but I don't have to hear my cell ring.  It just go in at the end of the day and delete them.

Is a debt collector.  They don't leave a message and when you call they ask for information that they should already have.  I don't do anything over the phone and they refused to provide in writing what they are seeking.

They called our company several times during the day. I finally called them back, its a person soft spoken talking really fast, ------LLC.  I told them to stop calling.  What is your number so we can remove it from our list. Yea, right...I told them you know what number this is,its on YOUR caller I.D.  

I told them to STOP OR I WILL REPORT THEM TO THE FCC. AND then I hung up on them.

I really feel sorry for those people...they hear that all day long, And all they want is a job.
It's got to get better for them.

This number calls me everyday and no one answers when I say hello.  I called the number back today and told them to take me off of the call list.  Hopefully, they will not call back again!

I have no idea who this is however, I looked at my call log and see that in the past week, they have called my number 32 times... I have not answered and have reported them 14 times in the same time frame. Apparently, reporting them does absolutely NOTHING.

calls constantly...I have the number  blocked but am annoyed by the single ring before it's blocked.  ROBO calls needs to be illegal.  This is harassment.

Caller ID is always overflowing with this number when I return home.

This number calls all day from 7:45 am until 11 pm, and doesn't leave a message. I decided to begin a log, so now I answer and tell them this is illegal harassment and to stop calling me.Then I hang up.  I will keep doing it this way to show the number of calls and the times. If it is a debt collector, then they have been notified to only contact me in writing since my husband recently passed away. Some debtors put his bills in my name when they had always been in his. It is probably one of these companies.However after being notified not to call me, they are racking up a list of violations for the FCC lawsuit which will have to come. We are real human beings here.

My caller id  says it's a dentist's office,ie Dr. Kaplansky,  from Gasport N.Y... I live nowhere near N.Y. and certainly don't drive there for my teeth!  REALLY!?!

I have debts, they're legit, and without going into a long drawn out story, I'm doing what I can to get back to good. Unfortunately, this 877-478-7645 is one of the worst out there. Not sure which one it is for, but I've seen GE and Care Credit mentioned throughout this thread, and I have debts with both. That phone number calls non-stop every hour. Robo-calling or not, legit debt owed by the person being called or not, at some point, it becomes harassment to call that much.

And then there's the issue of actually answering the calls. I answered to see who it was and nothing on the other line. So not only is it harassing robo-calling, but they don't even talk. Thankfully I am on Verizon, and I can add five phone numbers to block every 90 days. I keep a list on my PC and re-add as needed, but usually 90 days on the block list and the number never calls again. Also on my phone I have a "ZZZ" contact where I add spam numbers to and automatically send them to voice mail without it ringing at all. Again, if there is legit reason to call me, I will talk and explain (within reason, and I protect what info I give out), but this stuff? Yeah, it's for the birds.

Call your phone service provider & ask them to block it!
