- Chris again !OK , Citi bought this card . They quit billing me after August for some reason and the old rewards bill pay address stopped working as well. I have all my cards paid except this one . I'm deaf and can't call these numbers so I finally emailed the address given me by Rewards and they said they'd email asap . So they'll get paid as soon as I get the right address to pay the bill .

- steveThey are calling 2 or 3 times a day, even after I told them that I would not have their $59 payment until next week. It is 12 days late and I have told them that I am going to call the BB Bureau if they don't stop calling. They are by far the most annoying company I have ever dealt with.

- AlanaWe've been receiving 3-4 calls a day for months. On the rare occasion when we answered, there was no response. Recently, an occasional automated message has been left on our voice mail, saying to call a different number at Citi. (We don't even have an account - Best Buy got our number 6-7 years ago when we paid for something for my sister - unbelievable.) The first time we called the other number, the person had no idea what we were talking about. Then yesterday - FINALLY - a representative said she would take care of the situation, and that by today we'd be out of the system. Sure enough, today was a phone-friendly day . . . peace at last.
- MZ510I've gotten calls the past several days from this number and they call while I'm at work so I don't answer. They have left voicemails each time saying that I need to call them back (at a different number) but don't specify why. I have a Best Buy card and was about 3 days late on a payment this month but they should have received that money by now. Plus I don't think they should harrass you if your payment is just a few days late. I have good credit and no other companies I deal with do that.
When they leave a message I believe it should be specified why they are calling. By just saying that you need to call them back, that leaves so many options to why they could be calling and makes me suspect that the call isn't even legit. I understand that they want to collect money that is due, but they should wait a while longer before harrassing and let me know why they are calling. They need to be more patient and have a better system. Once this balance is paid off I do not plan to use it again.- Caller: Best Buy/Citi

- PaulThey call me a few times a day for the last month (November - December 2013). They do not introduce themselves, and do not answer to my multiple "hello"; so I thing they are NSA-type agency collecting voice samples to spy on people.
- boycott Best BuyI've been receiving 3-4 calls a day for a month or two, even I asked them to stop calling me. I am not the person they are looking for.
I do not agree and propose to boycott Best Buy and Citi.- Caller: Best Buy

- PaulBest Buy - I called the number and asked them not to call me; they still call my cell once or twice a day.
It proves that Best Buy have insecure (messed) computer system, including credit cards.
No more shopping at Best Buy- Caller: Best Buy
- DizzyBlondeI received a call from this number saying it was Citi Bank and they were sorry they didnt' get to talk to me (BUT I answered when the call came in so IDK). They gave me another number and when I called that line it said it was a doctor's office??? It is possible I got the number wrong BUT my Best Buy card has been paid off for months now. No reason for Citi to call...

- Annie| 1 replyIt is Citibank who now handles the Best Buy Rewardzone credit card accounts. They are calling because you (and I) are late with a payment.

- Clod replies to AnnieWell, a female called our company and asked for an employee without identifying herself or the business she was calling from. When I told her that the employee was not available, she said "I'll call back later" and hung up. They have called before without bothering to state their name or company, and we have told them repeatedly employees are not allowed to receive calls while on the shop floor (which is true).
- AndresObviously someone got a hold of numbers they believe to have at some point been in debt to Best Buy and is now trying to use that to steal from folks. Contact your phone service and have them blocked.

- CareyJust activated a new prepaid phone bought from a Verizon Store and day 1 received an unsolicited call from this number, assumed it was not legit and came on line... Thanks for the validation. - ScottI have _neither_ a Best Buy account nor a Citi Bank account, and yet I get a call about the same time every day with nothing but a stupid recording saying they're sorry they didn't get to speak to me personally even though I am right there on the line. I have to believe this is a scam, and I'm not entirely sure some of the people responding here aren't part of it.

- Understanding momma replies to johny b good| 6 repliesThere are several things you can do. The first is to get on the "do not call list" so telemarketers are prohibited from calling you. I am not worried I will miss a good deal, because I NEVER buy anything over the phone anyway. If for some reason they still call, the next is to answer the call and ask them to put you on their "do not call list." They may not technically be a telemarketer, but simply your credit card company that you have given permission to call you by not responding to one of their mailers. Other options are to block them from calling you through your phone service. I use Sprint and it was easy. I just went to My Preferences, All about account, Limits and permissions, Block Voice and entered the phone number. Be sure and save. It may take up to 15 minutes before you can leave the site for the phone number to be blocked. Or you can make a complaint with the FTC. You should go through steps 1 and 2 first, though; otherwise they may not be doing anything illegal. Apparently enough people are getting harrassing calls. It's time someone put a stop to this.
