PLEASE...this # is NOT ASSOCIATED with the Wells Fargo (we know)! It IS a scam collection agency! I have spoken to Wells Fargo security, and this # does NOT exist in their vast world of finances or banking (which we know they ripped us off in California)!! So let's not have another discussion whether this is real or a scam. IT IS A SCAM !! (Listen to recording...it states this is an attempt to collect on an unpaid debt). As much as the REAL Wells Fargo has scammed us, let's not let another scammer take advantage of that name !!

I do not have anything with Wells Fargo. Not my bank and don't owe them anything !  they call all day and evenings. how do i stop these calls !

This number keeps calling me and when I answer it hangs up! Several times a day!

They literally call everyday (I have them blocked on my phone so I don't get notified of their phone calls) but I see the voicemails left by a machine. I don't owe money to those thieves called Wells Fargo.

There is this new thing called mail.  You might have heard of it.  You write a letter, address and envelope, put the letter into the envelope, put a stamp on the envelope, and take it to the post office.  Then the USPS delivers that letter to the addressee.  Now in that letter you should tell them to stop calling you..  It would be best to send that letter certified, return receipt so that you can prove they got it.  Or you can put up with the calls.

This is a scam.  I do not and never have had a Wells Fargo account.

There's nothing on the line when you answer it.  There's no voicemail.  There's nothing when you call back.  Please, explain how I am supposed to "answer the phone and thll them what I posted here"

You are far from correct on that LOL sure its used to be that way.... coming from a banker in this type of environment today, you wont be screwed and a lot of times they don't even report anymore. Most look at credit more... especially wells.

but if u have a another existing bank acct. it won't matter if u r in checksyatems,and they can't take money from your acct. as long is it isnt the same bank also after 7 years it will fall out, and  basically they take it as a lost. however it does obviously effect your credit.

Scam. There is no "fax order" and no legitimate process server
calls you in advance and lets you know they are coming by.
Ignore and block these calls.   If you return that call,
they will say    WF,  but immediately ask for your account number.
Clear evidence of a scam.

I'd answer the phone, write down the details, date/time/who called/what was said.  If they don't ask for you, then they have the wrong person. If they do and you don't have an account, ask them for their address so you can send a debt validation letter.  Then send the letter soon as you can, return receipt.  They will have to reply in 30 days, if they don't its a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  If you get reply, and its not you, write and tell them, same way with return receipt.
If they don't reply, you can now take to court, for between 100-1000 dollars. Good to www.debtorboards.com to learn more.

Shut the [***] up. Im getting calls and i never had an account with them.

Never had a wells Fargo but I'm called daily by this number. I've been with bank of America since day one.

People please listen up!!! These are scammers acting as if they are wells fargo! I went to my local branch told them of the call from 877-647'8552-
and my account was definitely not overdrawn!!! Truly a scam!!!
