Never leaves a message, no one there when I pick up.

In my case I get a recording saying They have found fraudulent activity with my social security number and that if I don’t call my as number will be suspended. I’ve been getting these calls for over a year and I am fed up with them. I am a law abiding citizen for instance I have not committed any fraud. This is all a scam

Actually, Chexsystem does not stop you from opening an account anymore. That’s old news. I was on Chexsystem due to Wells Fargo and was able to open an account with Chase.

It is quite possible that in 2012, 7 years ago, when that post was made, that was a correct statement.  It does sound a whole lot like a "pay your billz" shill post though.

I answer many times yet NOBODY IS THERE, then they hang up !! They NEVER leave a message of any kind.....and I have even called it back and get a message saying the number doesn't exist!!

This number calls twice or three x's a day around 8am and 1-3 pm for several days then stops for a couple weeks then begins again. If I pick up, there is no one there. A legitimate company would not do this repeatedly so if you get a person on that line telling you they're from Wells Fargo then I suggest you hang up and call your bank directly.

This is NOT Wells Fargo overdraft. I spoke to Wells Fargo branch directly and this number is not one of theirs. We closed our account there years ago so they would have no reason to call us. The person on the line refused to tell me what it was about unless I gave him my social security number. When I refused and told him to look up the account that HE called me about, he became rude and hung up.

Been there a few times I see. You clearly are such a nice person and just giving these people some good advice.
I got the call because it’s a new number. Ain’t paying for no one else’s mistakes.

hello everyone yeah I played ball with these fools for a minute but didn't care to hand over my personal info. First 2 questions they asked me after I was rudley hung up on I was disconnected ony 1st attempt then I called back again they insisted on having my account number and then they wanted my SSI number I laughed and kindly implied I don't care to give out my personal info unless I'm inside a branch .
It's a scam. These fools are fishing but I'm not bitting.. I've read up on on apps that you can get for free off Google play. Now it allows you to tie any phone number you want to your number therefore it looks legit. Of there's really a issue and your worried about it go into a branch and ask for a branch manager. Handle it I'm person be smart people good luck

Calls on Cell phone every couple of days , leaves no message.  Don't believe it's Wells Fargo as I never gave them the phone number. If they wanted to reach me they have my address to mail me whatever they have to say.

Cee Cee for your information a bank does not call and when you pick up nobody answer if it an ligit phone number as you said ,I get calls 3 to 4 times a day even on Sundays and if it is wells Fargo as you said I DO NOT nhave a Wells Fargo account so you are giving false information

this is not wells Fargo people be careful these people call leave no messages  and when you pick up nobody answer,which bank you ever hear works like that .First the bank would  have leave a message and they would have send you a document in writing ,don't be fooled.

This # calls  at least 3 to 4 times daily..but dont leave  a message
