This number keeps on calling me nonstop. I just got $50 charge on my Debit card from this number. I want this to stop!!!

Go to the bank, dispute the charge.  Change out your card.  Don't answer calls you do not recognize.   Utilize a call blocker.

I don't know anyone is jail or prison and this company charged me over $1300 and now I am overdrawn.  How did they get my bank account info?

I recommend filing a fraud dispute with your bank or CC holder and also filing reports with the FTC & CFPB..

This number is one of three involved in a series of spammish calls I got: 1) 1st from 713-568-6986, claiming to be a collect call from an inmate at a CA youth correctional facility, 2) next from 800-483-8314, saying that my service provider was unable to bill me for attempted calls from an inmate, but if I wanted to receive them, to call 3) 877-650-4249.

I know no inmates whatsoever anywhere, have never used my number in any ad or in fact ever online anywhere, and didn't take these calls, but let them go to voicemail. Not sure what scam is being attempted, but that it *is* a scam attempt, I have no doubt. Will block all three numbers.

I agree - my phone # was in my Dad's name (my Mom wanted to preserve the # when she remarried so I took that #)  AND I get junk mail, callers looking for my Dad (I married so my last name is different) obviously, no doubt in my mind it's the phone companies.  Everybody trying to make $ so let's sell #'s..... as if phone companies don't rape us enough. grrrr

I put $ on the GTL account (a crap company)  in January for a friend that I was sponsoring to bring her out of the system.   She recently called AND the $ I added in Jan. (never used) is gone - I have to add more $.  The rep said "if you don't use it, you lose it after a month of no calls"  what the crap.   YEP I wish mine would ring and utilize the $ I had paid in January.    I feel for you Ammystay for what you went thru ; my son is now in Co Jail and I want the $ I had put on the "account"

My son was in prison a few years ago. After he was released, the global tel company on tiniest automatically calling over and over again as though he was calling collect but he was no longer there? Now I don't mind the service but once the balance  gets low, I don't need them calling as though he were still in there calling me

Well I know for a fact that global tel link repetitively calls my phone as though my son was calling when he'd already been released. They were calling me collect as though he was still there only to tell me the funds were low. Over and over again

This number is listed on my bank account as my debit card was used illegally.  Two charges for $39.00, one charge for $50.00.  Tried to call to have charges reversed, but it's all automated, and no contact company is listed.  But the automation says I can save money at AllState, Walmart, and Direct TV.  I don't think I would like to do business with any of those companies anymore.

I JUST GOT FRAUDULENTLY CHARGED AS WELL!!! 8 charges of $50/75.

This company is about to get their [***] sued, there is so much evidence against them. Someone needs to take charge.

No Phone calls to. Be charge to this phone number not to 407-&89-0430 unless I except them . This is from any JAIL Because I will not pay it. Thank You.
