I received a debit of AU$30.83 on  my statement, I do not have anyone in a US jail. Wrong charges!!

Collect calls from this number!

Hi i am getting collected calls from Albany Country Jail and I want to block the call from Albany country jail.

this is an annoying scam call

my debit card was used by an inmate and I did not authorize this. I do not know who this is and it appeared 70.00 was withdrawn from my account .  authorization number was 29157 that came up also on my checking account.

I wish you would stop calling my phone I don't know anyone in prison and even if I did I wouldn't give you my information

For the last month i have been getting calls from this number 877-650-4249 and they say i can put money in an account under 800-483-8314. not sure who is doing this but i am sick of getting these calls

Everyday I receive multiple calls from this Company

This is a SCAM folks!!!!!... 1-800-483-8314 is the call I keep getting. Yes it says that it was a prisoner calling Blah Blah Blah...But here is where it gets interesting.....
I call the number (1-877-650-4249), that it says to call to be put on the "do not not call list," and the guy that answers is foreign and wants to know my number to so that he can put it on the list to stop calling....but then he asks for my name. I told him I'm not going to give him my name. And that some inmate must have mistakenly dialed my number...
He constantly asks for my full name so that he can "add it to the file." And promises that they are legit and that they have a website...LOLZ
I refuse!
Finally I give him a fake name just to end this crap, and then he asks me for a 4 digit pass code pin number.
I told him that I am not setting up any kind of an account with him or his company and that he can go eff himself.
Folks I think they are scamming people into setting up accounts with them and stealing identities!
They act as if the personal questions that they are asking you are to help them put you on the "do not call list," but are probably gathering your information to take out credit lines in your name.

I didn't get through all of the personal questions that the scammer was asking because I hung up on him, but I bet if I were to keep answering his questions then he would have probably asked for Name, Birth Date, Street Address, Occupation, Social Security No., Bank routing numbers, ATM PIN No. and probably my Mothers Maiden Name also if I would give it. Be skeptical of these people on here telling you that these people are not scammers.

Scam....scam....scam....scam!

I got a charge in my bank account from these people.  I don't even know how they got card number.  I didn't even get a call from them or anybody at the time of the charge.  If it hadn't been for fraud protection, I would have lost $50.

was charged 14.99 for call

Somehow they got my credit card number and
billed me $25,$150, $200and $200. I called my credit card company and they credited my account and sent me a new credit card

I have been charged for 2 different calls now

Yeah when I called this number to tell them to take my phone off their list, he tried asking for my name, told him NO im not telling u my name, i dont know anyone in jail, and just take my number off of your ******* List.

Yeah, it's bad news if you're getting calls from this crappy number.   Welcome to the club  :|

Saying the DNC doesn't work or is useless only illustrates your lack of understanding of what it is.

The DNC does work and prevents legitimate business from calling people on the list. It is not a call blocker for those who disobey laws and can't be expected to know who is calling your number.

Dont want collect calls from jail

Hello
I called global tel-link and the person I spoke to told me that in order for him to block my number i MUST create an account with them and give them my personal information, which I refuse to do.....this is a scam and no one, not even my local phone carrier can do something about.  Blocking the number just sends the calls to my voicemail and then I get a message of the recording and have to constantly go into my voicemail to erase it....unacceptable
