I’m in high school and don’t have a car and I’ve been getting these calls from this number it’s annoying since it happens during class and can get me in trouble

So, WHY is your phone on when you are in class???

They are starting again.  This number will no longer be answered.  Can't be blocked for some reason, but we sure will not be answering.

I didn’t know what this phone number was at first either and due to all the robot calls recently, I ignored it. Came here and found out that it was Ally Financial (more specificity their Auto division). Called them back the same day. I bought a car through a dealership 10 days ago and they finally got around to getting my online account set up. This call was them giving me my new online account number and getting me set up.

We just purchased a jeep and this # comes up as robo call

I don't answer unknown #, but I do look them up.

I purchased a car recently and this number keeps calling me too. Never leaves a message. I do not answer unknown calls. Very annoying.

IRS Scam

Keeps calling and say they're for student loans. But others day they're for a bank.  Obviously a scam.

I just got the same call after confirming yesterday, had to confirm again today im like please stop   they wanted my social and i said i dont think so.   Then i said please hold, looked up the number saw your comment and was like ok, i can verify with something else but NOT my social.  So appreciate your tip!

this is a total scammer - it's not any legitimate bank - banks don't call you to setup online accounts

They keep calling us. We just bought a car. They are calling my cellphone and they won't talk to me because the loan doesn't have my name on it. My husband has already answered the questions but they are still calling. Some of the questions are not related to anything about the loan. We didn't even get the loan through them. Ugh

They are real, just a pain in the rear .

If you did not get the loan through them then why are you answering questions, how do they know that your name is not on the loan, and why would you put up with this?

Well, scammers spoof banking and financial numbers to try phishing info and that person was probably called by a scammer back in 2013 when they posted that.

I recently purchased another car and am getting financed through Ally. This number calls at least 2 times a day and leaves no voicemails, I'm not getting emails or any sort of communication from Ally indicating they are trying to reach me. I called the customer service number that was listed on the mobile app and talked to a real rep. She said they have no phone numbers that start with 877. Not saying the reviews are false that this is Ally, but its super sketch to me. Beware!

Yes, recently financed a car through Allied, not Ally which is how the number came up on caller id.  Foreign accent and the fact that they need to verify my information and it is an 877 number which is the dead giveaway for scammers.  I was told at the dealership that they would send me all the information needed to set up auto-pay.  When I told her to hold on while I call the company and verify their identity, she hung up.  TOTAL SCAM!!

Ally Bank or who ever they are spooking to be can stuff it.    I don't have a loan with them student, auto or any other financial dealings.   If they want something they can contact me by certified mail and I will turn it over to my lawyer.
