Yes, it's Ally. I recently financed a car. I think it was to confirm information but I was not comfortable doing so on the phone since I get so many scam calls. The only thing I gave them were the last four of my phone number. I refused on my social security number and address. They said that was fine and that they'd be sending me a welcome kit with payment options in the mail. I said that would be fine. Problem solved.

Nice try scammer. That can’t even pronounce the name of the bank right. Really???

My supervisor rolls when she hears me on the phone.  Sometimes she rolls her eyes and other times she rolls on the floor laughing.  So, after my usual business greeting, a foreign caller said, "Hello, good afternoon. MynameisTrishFromAllyBankCallingOnARecordedLine.  I engaged with her until she eventually and wisely ended the call.  I had asked her to say her name 4 times and then asked her to spell it.  I asked her to repeat the name of the bank twice, then I asked her to spell it.  I asked for the address of the bank.  When she gave me only Detroit, Michigan I said I was ready to write down the complete address.  That was when she gave up and ended the call!

This number calls daily and no one is ever on the other line when I pick up. Caller ID shows Ally Bank

They called me and wanted me to verify my address place of purchase last 4 of social.  I told them they were calling me and I would verify if they would tell me what they have on file.  They said they were not allowed.  I called ally my self and was told nothing was needing verified.
