Received call on my cell phone.  This number is listed on the Do Not Call list.

For quite a while, I had been getting calls daily from this number, sometimes twice a day, on both my cell phone and land line. I never answered either one and no messages were ever left. Then the calls stopped about a month ago, until today.  Again, no message was left. Guess they're going to start calling again. Yippee.

Thanks, Devo.  Hope that stops the many calls I have received recently.

I just got a call from this number on my Sprint cell phone.  The woman asked for me by name and tried to go in to some spiel about being a loyal Sprint customer.  I pretended I could not understand and ended the conversation.

I got a call from this number.. I added it to a NO ANSWER contact that is set not to ring, or do anything.. so far I have about 12 nubmers there.

This number is just a customer service rep from Sprint. They call after you add to your service, buy new service or renew your contract with them.They are not trying to sell you anything, its a thank you call & a check up that your satisfied with your purchase.

I received a call from 877-671-1851 for adding a new line and phone upgrade. It was an advertisement for selling a new phone and a new line. I do not feel so good because advertisement over the phone is prohibited in the USA.

Sheesh....yes it may be anoying but it is very simple to deal with.
1. Don't answer.
2. Return call.
3. Press 6
4. Never get the call again

called, yet again by this supposed Sprint Telemarketing thingy, I didnt answer since I didnt recognize the number, they keep calling randomly, no voicemail, no identification.  If this is not actually Sprint like some people say, I still hold them responsible for giving out my cell phone number.  Let me guess, they sold it for a tidy profit. what a waste of time.

Received the call on my cell.  I called the number back today, it says they are sprint and you can press 6 to not have them call again.  We will see...

think sprint telemarketer makes this call--of course it is someone in another country, so why talk to them??????????????

they just called me 2 seconds ago, its the 2nd phone call i got from them so far, and I actually answered this time. I said hello a couple times with no answer, so I just hung up--annoying.

i just called them back, it was the Sprint people.. and they said they were Closed! how can they be closed if they just called Me?? stupid telemarketers...

This is a scam artist using a caller ID spoof as if it were coming from Sprint/Nextel.  Sprint when they really call comes up as Customer Service which is a *2 - most of the time anyway as I had this happen when they called me back to verify programing was successful otherwise Out of Area is what comes up as I had a tech call me back to verify service changes.

What Sprint/Nextel needs to do is offer CALL BLOCKING so as customers can block ALL 800, 866 and 877 numbers as we as individual numbers.  IF they want to call customers they should install a security certificate into the phones so when they call it is verifyed as geniune.  In the meanwhile, never answer or if you do - DO NOT give them any information.  If you do not make the call to Sprint/Nextel ... do not share any personal information.

Thank God the prodigy of ARAPNET lets us crap out the demons of unsolicited antagonisms from call center slaves who are the crushed minions of the communications empires! Some poor slobs have to make these calls to pay for the crap they eat. Pity.

How can these calls be stopped??????????????????????
