Getting them to take me off their list wasn't easy but I love making the confrontational call. I did the polite call {please take me off your list} The guy was very nice and apologized and said he would take me off his list. The next time they called, they were closed? I made a firm call {why are you still calling} the following Monday and she took a little more info and assured me I was out of the system. Yesterday, I got another call and made the rude call {this is the third time. no I don't want what your'e selling, All I want is for you to take me off your list!!!! Quit with the sales script and take me off your list} After having that conversation and being transferred four times, I finally got a supervisor on the phone. After a few minutes of the same crap, he said "It takes three billing cycles to remove you from our system" Three months??!!?? This could be fun. That means I can call and abuse these people till after Thanksgiving. Then he said he had access to the system and can take me out right now.

We'll see. I just had to suspend the "Golden Rule"

Thank God somebody out there has a brain. I'm so sick of reading posts from people that appear to be very uneducated (or maybe they just don't care). It's refreshing to see someone use proper grammar.

i got a call from this phone number and they claim to be sprint and once the questions got personal. i hung up and called sprint on *2 and asked customer service if they just called me and they had no record of calling me in the past week. basically those people are scamers.
i want to let you know  because there a program called spoof that you can by and it allows you to call any number and place a number that you want to appear on the caller id. this is to play jokes on your friends but [***] out there use it for other purposes like to scam you into believing that they are your service providers.

one more think i forgot to say is that the spoof program works internationally so the caller may be from india since they have an indian accent. plz don't fall for this. if you are suspicus hang up. and call sprint back from your cell phone by dilling them directly on *2. if they really did call you it will show up with customer service. don't try to play smart with the caller as they are computer smart and have far more capabilities than you do just jang up.
WHY WOULD SPRINT CALL YOU TO SELL YOU A PHONE LINE IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE?

Indian woman, very nice.  However, this was still an alarming phone call just shy of 9pm, asking several questions including which ISP I'm with.  That's none of Sprint's business.  If I wanted another line, I would have bought it at the store.  I can afford to.  I just don't want or need one.  Pushing such tactics is unprofessional and if their service wasn't so good otherwise it'd be a reason to switch.  I -like- Sprint.  I like the reception.  I like their phones.  But this kind of [***] is unwarranted.

Yes, I have gotten the same "abuse" as the rest of you. It probably is Sprint from the sound of things. I've found it best to just ignore the idiots. I have thought all alone that it's some type of telemarketer. Who really cares where these morans are calling from + what they are selling? They are all bottom feeders and will do anything for a sale even though I don't know how could even accomplish that from the sound of things. Let's face it-these jerks are going to continue to do this as long as this technolgy exists, so we may as well just put up with their crap and not continue to get ourselves all upset over nothing...
