A short spelling lesson for you:

there - as in over there, another place, a location
their - as in it belongs to them "it is their phone" "it is their problem"
they're - as in they are "they're just trying to make a living" "they're gonna call"

then - as in  "then leave a message" a time marker or or used with a sequence of events
than - as in "better than"  Unlike then, than is not related to time.  Than is used in comparative statements such as "I can spell better than you" "today was warmer than yesterday"

Just sayin...if you don't want to appear uneducated

I have not updated, or spken with anyone from Sprint, for almost 2 years. When we do, it is their booth at the mall when we have a question. Then today this number called my cell phone. I listed my husband's cell, mine and our home number on the national do not call registery. I have also filed complaints against callers in the past with the registry that called and after I did that, the calls stopped. I do believe others when they say this 877-671-1815 is not Sprint calling, that it is a scam. For now I will monitor it, if it continues, I will report the number.

Another comment. We have had AT&T and Verizon cell service and they were awful. Sprint has worked the best for us and we've had the best service. Most of the rest of our families have Verizon and cannot get or send calls from the inside of my mom's house....we can. Just wanted to comment on it.

I agree Megan. These people are just trying to make a living. I picked up for them and was nice although I was not interested. They don't want to call. They probably hate their job. Being nice makes it a bit easier for them though.

Yep, this number just called me, too. Glad to know it is Sprint Telemarketing – haven't a clue what they could see me! I bought their unlimited plan and newest phone – same for my hubby. So no need whatsoever to answer and WASTE MY TIME. And you are right: since I am a customer the Do Not Call law doesn't apply. :(

He called me and said he was sprint calling me to see if I wanted to upgrade my phone service. He asked for my personal code so he could look up information. I told him that I did not want to upgrade service. He was friendly, but did not speak English very well.

IT was a gentleman saying he was sprint calling me to upgrade my service. He wanted  me to answer a  Identification question. I told him my answer, but then called sprint to change it. He did not speak English very well, but he was friendly. I told him I did not want to upgrade and he thanked me for my time.  CALL SPRINT and complain about this number!

Many of us get calls from those that we do business with. It's the business of business and since you have a relationship with that business the do not call laws do not apply. But there is a legal exception to stop the calls the junk mail or emails. First read what you signing, there is a clause in that paperwork that allows you opt out of connect except that which is directly related to a problem or change with your account status. Those annoying letters that you get in the mail that talk about changes in policy tell you how to opt out. But if you're dumb enough not to read it, they don't complain about the contact. The person and company calling you are doing so because you gave them permission to call you. So now walk to the closest mirror and you will see the dumb ass thats causing you all this grief. If you spent 2% of the time you invested in this blog to read your mail you would be better off.

Google " sprint opt out of phone contact" result
    http://www2.sprint.com/mr/gp_dtl.do?article=1081
Just go to the above website and you can control how and if Sprint can contact you.  Do that same Google search for any company and you can get that same info for whatever company is bothering you.
