I also got a call from this number and I asked them for proof of their calling from Chase Bank. I found answers doubtful so  I did a google search and found that it is a phishing attempt. But Govt needs to take legal action to track down this call center.  Chase never calls like this in name of fraud protection.

This is suppose to be Chase Fraud and they have given us the run around all day on this account

Most likely because it isn't who they claim to be.  You should have called the bank directly using the number on the back of your card or on your statement.

That’s funny I just got this letter in the mail and it says we locked your online account access to protect you. You won’t be able to see your statements and notices at this time. To unlock your access please call us at 1877-691-8086. We accept operator relay calls, there’s only one thing along with this letter in the mail. I just have a cashiers check from Chase because when they close down your account whatever’s left in there they send on a cashiers check so this is a scam. My account has been closed close to two months, so how can I block my access if it’s already closed

And you’re absolutely right I got a text and it was for $832 charge activating my prime account that I don’t even have I’m on my company phone I called customer service on three different 800 numbers that I googled for customer service of Amazon They all had one thing in common instead of looking up a pending charge of $832. They were wondering what cell phone I was using an iPhone or an android all three of them the same exact question I said why are you wondering what cell phone I’m on I’m on my company phone well put down your company phone and call this number back on your cell phone  And they were Indian people in the background and they’re known for scamming people

Why did you Google a phone number for Amazon instead of simply going to the Amazon website?
