- deekayare| 1 replyI lost my dog because he bolted when I took him to the vet. We scoured the area 2 days in a row. Then I discovered this service within a half an hour someone called me and reported seeing the dog and the location. I got my dog back. Please listen to their message if they call. Losing a pet is heartbreaking.

- sanibel_999Received a message on our answering machine on Christmas Day reporting a lost dog in the area. I went online to check the numbers they left. This thing seems ligit. The phone number listed was local, but the address was out of state. I'm guessing someone was visiting for the holiday and their dog got out. I hope they find their pet before it's time to go home.

I answered the call without looking at caller ID as I was expecting a call from a friend.

- RudiWhat a bunch of suspicious folks out there. The caller gives a legitimate web site to go to for checking them out. Instead of complaining, do it.

- Joey Bag of DonutsWhen are you people going to learn? If you do not recognize the number on your caller ID, don't answer. If you do not have caller ID, then you are at their mercy. Most of the time these calls are from Number verification companies which means as long as you pick up, your number is an active one and they sell it to other low lifes.
- angrygrammaand nomo got this one.
- Caller: Blocked bleeper from NY??
- devildogI had to get up at 0300 Monday so I went to bed around 8 PM Sunday. Don't you know that at around 8:30 PM I got a call from 800 service about a lost dog. It was a recorded message telling me about the lost pets description and to call the owners at 508-246-7911. That number is in Massachusetts and I live in Florida. I doubt they are my neighbors.
- Caller: 800 service
- LinnyI'm not sure how I feel about getting calls like this, but I also saw a flier on a telephone pole for the same dog. If my pet was lost, I'd do anything I could to find him.
