Apelles is the rudest debt collector I have ever dealt with! The customer "service" representative hung up on me! And I don't mean they put me on hold and forgot about me, she refused to listen to what I had to say and hung up. My representative's name was Ms. Walker, I called her back and told her I could make payments but that I will not deal with her directly and she refused and she hung up again! I guess Apelles won't be able to collect the debt that I owe them thanks to their own employee, Ms. Walker.

I too worked with Apelles and (settled in full) with them on a debt from US Bank and before I set up the payment plan and paid them off we (Apelles and I) agreed that when the debt was paid they would send me a letter stating that I had paid in full. The debt has been settled in full for 2 months now and  I have had to repeatedly call them for this letter, to which they claim has been sent out, but I am the only one who checks my mail, I have not moved in this time and I have yet to receive this letter. I am going to call them one more time and give them one more week and then I am reporting them. I have followed through with my end of the bargain and they are not following through with theirs. They wanted their money in a timely fashion and all I ask for is a simple letter stating that my debt has been settled and paid in full so I can open a second chance banking, and I am sick of waiting for this letter that has supposedly been in the mail for 2+ months.

yeah these [***] keep callling my cell once a month asking for a guy named MArcus, and when i tell them there isn't a person named Marcus at this number, they cut me off and hang up on me. So i called them back telling them to take my number off of their list, and when they asked for my number I said no because theyre just going to keep calling me, and then I told them I was going to report their company, and they hung up on me, so I called the [***] back, and they hung up on me again!

A scam, [***] these people, how do I get rid of them trying to call me? I registered on the national do not call list, but obviously theres a loophole.

They called me too. They are from US Bank (collection)  but they are complete dicks. I must say the first person I talked to was nice and she was willing to call me back. Then the next time I got a ass wipe! I made him realize how ignorant and uneducated he was, so he hung up. It was a blast letting him know that I wont break myself to pay something to US Bank for a problem they were suppose to help me resolve before it went to collections, so he hung up. I am a young adult and I am working on cleaning up my debt, but with that [***] they can get the money when I die (or I'm ready too.) LOL

Even though you paid them in full, this will stay on your account records for the banks. So if you were to open another bank account at another bank. They will look at your records and see that the account you paid is still on your records. I refuse to pay them for this fact. It'll be on my records for 4-7 yrs. Even if I did pay them it will not be removed. Hopefully you'll get your letter. Good Luck

Appelles is calling me trying to reach someone else. They've been doing this for over 2 months now and I finally got their company name. I've told them repeatedly that I'm not who they're looking for and don't know the person but never fail - 2 days later they call me again.
