- american consumertmac| 1 replythese [***] call my phone 10 times a day. And that's not exagerated! I tell them they have the wrong number. I just got from serving 3 tours in iraq. I have no debt. They asked for my SS# and I wouldn't give it to them so they hung up. I'm sick of it!
- nanfett replies to DHnKC| 5 repliesNot all subprime. They apparently bought all of the Citifinancial Auto loans. Ours was not subprime and not late. Paid every month 4 days early by bill pay electronically. They just took over our loan this week and since the payment went to Citifinancial they didn't get it by the due day from Citi and they called us. They were very polite though.

When i call they say they recognize my number and would have me confirm with the last four of my social or the year I was born. I never purchased a car through this company Santander consumer U.S.A. They mentioned a website www.santanderconsumerusa.com. Be careful you don't enter your information.

- Sarah| 1 replyHate to break to most of you, Santander is a valid company. I was given this # (888-222-4227) by CitiFinancial. I called the CitiFinancial customer service # on their website and asked for the Auto phone number. And yes, I did Google it. Anyways, this company did take over the CitiFinancial Auto loans. The Santander website specifies that if you had Citi, you should have received a letter explaining the transfer. Looks like they did take over quite a few auto financing companies.
- lilmat replies to Sarahi call santanderconsumerusa and couldn't never get them the number 1 888 222 4227 you come up with amachine is this a rip off
- fedupwithcallsthis company bought all of the HSBC Auto Loans, if you are late they will call you as late as 10:30 pm at night. I have saved my call records from them and have documentation. In some days I have received as many as 41 calls in a day. they call from the 88-222-4227 number as well as 214-237-3516, 469-385-5260, 214-614-3380 and un-identified numbers.
Due to health issues I have been unable to make my payments and needed payment arrangements, but because the rep you speak with is on commission, they are unlikely to work with you. there income depends on how much money they collect.- Caller: Santander Consumer

- goofygirl replies to robinyeah they'll keep calling you too.i have an account with them andthey are always calling my parent's house looking for and my dad has told them several times that i don't live there.they have my cell # and i don't know why they never call me
- randman256Thanks HSBC Auto -- and I do mean it sarcastically -- for transfering the servicing of my loan to Santander. I never had any issue with HSBC Auto. With Santander, I get calls if I'm even a day late, and they continue to call even if I have made payment arrangements. They are also a pain because the call from about a half dozen different numbers and I don't think one of them comes up as Santander. Some do not even come up with caller ID. When Ford Credit or Capital One Auto call at least I know who is calling. Same as when my loan was serviced with HSBC Auto.

- RMFL replies to yoga| 1 replyThey also just recently took over Citi Financial Auto loans. They have done nothing but harrass myself and my wife and I have advised them that they need to contact Citi to find out why the pmts are not reflecting properly. The first call from an 888 # then the call from a 219 #, then the call from an Unknown #, all w/ in minutes of each other. Wow, let me answer the call from the local # since i didn't answer for the toll free one. or better yet let me answer an unknown #....How dumb must they think I am???? apparently not as dumb as them trying this method to contact me......i should just give the truck back seeing as how i am upside down in it anyway!!!
