888-234-6786

I got t call from the same number. I didn't answer. No message. Also, I don't have Verizon voice mail. I don't even have Verizon.

I also got a "New Voicemail" message displayed on my phone.  When I tried to listen to it, it dialed this 888-234-6786 number, which is Verizon's VM access number.  I used to have Verizon, but have Cox now, and it turned out the VM message was actually from COX.  I had been on the phone with their customer service when the call dropped, so it was Cox trying to call me back. Because I had programmed my Panasonic phone years ago with Verizon's VM access number (and totally forgot having done that) it took me a while to figure out how to fix things. I'm actually not sure why the voicemail didn't go directly to my phone's answering machine, though...Maybe just time for a new phone.

Then why is it calling us????????? I've had like 20 calls & it leaves a message that is its answer recording asking me to input my password.

Got a call from this number, no message so I just blocked it.
