I picked up but didn't speak.  They persistently asked for a non-existent spouse.

I'm not sure, but aren't charities exempt from the "no call list"?

Luckily, the connection was bad.  I told the guy he sounded terrible and he kept repeating "Do I sound better now?"  At least, I wasted his time.

totally ignores the Do Not Call List

Have received numerous calls from this number and never left a message.  When I did answer, there was nobody on the line.

BEWARE!! They are now working over numbers in the upper WA. Olympic Peninsula namely the 360 prefixes..We do NOT answer any callers we do NOT know or number we do not recognize, but I would gladly meet any of them at my front door as I am always armed and my dogs are ready 24/7--just too many deadbeats, wackos, nuts, fruits and flakes!! Be safe out there and remember: "Nobody Rapes A .38"!! bbjr.

This number keeps calling.  They just won't quit.  I have even called the number back and left a message not to call here again.  I have received 2 more calls this morning.   DANG!

I get calls several times a day.  They always hang up when I answer.  Funny, this stuff does not bother my husband at all. They could call one hundred times.  I don't like it all.

The caller hung up when voicemail answered. Googled the number and found this website.  Thanks for the information.  My policy is to contribute substantially to 3 major charities, however, ALL callers are asked to remove me from their list and are wished good luck with their program. The calls have dropped to about 10 per year.

I have gotten 3 calls from this number. 1 lastnight and 2 today. I finally answered the 2nd one today. A man on the phone just said, "I'm not scared of you, you stupid *itch." then hung up.
I called the phone company and reported it. I am calling the police next.

no one talking, *69'd the number, and there are options to either talk to an operator or go to the directory. neither one works.

My wife got hit by same scam today.  They called, my wife told them we only do donations through mail, he verified address and said thank you.  THen some rude b!tch calls back, says we don't have your address, can you donate $15, etc... my wife told her we don't donate over the phone, lady proceeded to be rude about it.

If you check the link for the charity the [***] that runs the place gets compensation of almost $200K a year.

Screw him and his charity.

I DON'T DONATE TO ANY ONE THAT CALLS ON THE PHONE IF THEY ARE TO LAZY TO COME TO MY DOOR THEN I AM TO BUZY TO DONATE TO A PHONE NUMBER....I DONATE TO THE LOCAL SCHOOLD FOR THE HEART FUND...EVER NOTICE WHEN YOU DONATE ON THE PHONE EVERY ONE HAS YOU NAME AND ADDRESS BECAUSE THEY WANT A PIECE OF YOU. SORRY BUT I HAVE TO LIMIT WHO I DO DONATE TOO. I CAN'T AFFORD TO DONATE TO THEM ALL.. SO I DON'T TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST TOO.

Receive calls early in a.m.  When I asked them not to call again, "Danea" began educating me by saying their number was exempt and there was no need to file a harrassment charge.  She continued by telling me that negativity was not good and REFUSED to hang up.  Isn't this harrassment, charity or not.  I already give what I can.  This number should be investigated.

IT IS ONE THING TO HAVE A LIGITIMATE COMPLAINT AND CONTACT THE ORGANIZATION DIRECT BUT TO COMPLAIN TO A SITE ON THE WEB WHERE THE ORGANIZATION HAS NO RECORSE TO CORRECT, IS TOTALLY WRONG.

THAT ORGANIZATION THAT YOU REFER TO AS A SCAM, WHICH BY LAW DEFINITION IS: POTENTIONALLY LIABLE FOR DEFAMATION.  THE ORGANIZATION IS AN IRS 501 (C) (3) TAX EXEMPT NON PROFIT, IT IS REGISTERED WITH ALL ATTORNEYS GENERAL AND/OR SECRETARYS OF STATE WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW AND HAS CONDUCTED AN ANNUAL INDEPENDENT AUDIT.
