I got this call 2 days ago.  I was shopping and ignored the call.  When I got back to my car I listened to the partial message... Because the incompetent who programs these calls is not bright enough to leave enough time for an outgoing message.. So all we get is if you'd like to speak to Customer Service press 1 now...  Of course that brings up the question Customer Service for WHO???  After reading all the complaints I'm glad I didn't waste my time upon racing to get this listed.  I am going to call this ROBO FAKE AMAZON Call... based on all the previous  reports and this is the number for Amazon Customer Service.

This is an Amazon customer care phone number. It is being spoofed.  This has been covered in the news.  When the call came in, phone indicated it was likely a scam.  Scammers seem to be more sophisticated than Congress or Amazon.

The number just showed up with no header to see who it might be from. The phone rang twice and then it stopped.

Unsolicited calls make it a scam.

I received a call from Amazon ssking if I had made a purchase totaling close to $1000 more or less.  My answer is NO I did not! I was unable to get in touch with your customer service to ask this be removed. If necessary you may call me or email me

I actually called this number because I got it off a web page . I was trying to figure out what happen with my account. There were 2 when I only had one. I gave them my info and they used it to gain access and delet my info causing me not to be able to access original account

Caller said his name is Kevin Wilson, represents Amazon customer service, his ID is 1KE05D. He said I purchased an Apple Mac Pro and air pod a week ago, I logged in to my amazon account from different locations, like NY, OH, and other states. He asked me if I use open network to log in, have I been to all those locations, and do I have multiple bank accounts. He sounded very suspicious and I asked him a lot of questions, like where he is calling from. He gave me an address claiming it's Florida address. I asked what county it is, he kept saying Florida or United States, can't answer to my question.
